I hear a lot of talk about how hard wings reserves are to pack and have even read here of a rigger who charges extra to pack a reserve into a wings container. Can someone (preferably a rigger) tell me (a non-rigger) why the wings are so hard to pack. Is there anything different about the reserve deployment sequence from a wings as compared to a comparable pop top type system? Being that they are difficult to pack are there any added precautions to take when packing? Thanks for the info – will be purchasing a new container soon and am just gathering opinions. neil

If the machine is running windows XP you could also try performing a system restore. Start – All Programs - Accessories – System tools – System restore Launch this program and pick a date you want to restore the computer to and it will eradicate any software installed since the chosen date. It works quite well. neil

I would also be interested in seeing some pictures of the M-Series Vectors. Is their a big difference between the Micron and the M-Series (other then the size). What is the difference between the Vector 3 and the Vector 3 M series? Thanks Neil

Anyone ever stay in the Days Inn in Rantoul? Is it close enough to the convention to walk “home” in case of mass alcohol consumption? I’m looking at booking a room for at least some of the convention as I want to do some serious skydiving – nice quiet place to rest etc. etc. So please if you’ve stayed here chime in with your opinion etc as it is a little cheaper then the Best Western and I’m thinking about scooping up a room. .:skip

I am headed to Dallas this weekend as well - with rig in tow. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I will be out Sunday morning for my first jumps at skydive Dallas. .:skip

Oh my - someone else enjoys my pic for "best drunk food" Without a doubt my favorite "drunk food" is hummus and pita bread. I keep my kitchen stocked with the stuff. Easy - quick - tasty - and good for you. I eat the stuff 6-12 times a week. .:skip

Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern are Dead I love this movie - have only seen on once and can not find a copy. It is "out of print" on VHS - not released on DVD. What a great flick, hope I can run into it again someday. .:skip

Thats prety funny becasue about 2 years ago there was the guy jumping out at spaceland who had a canopy to sell which I offered to sell for him over the internet. Well the canopy sold so quick and I guess he was impressed with my computing and networking skills that he called me up one day and started telling me about all these problmes he was having with his kidneys etc. etc. and he point blank very frankly asked me if I could try to find him a kidney for sale on the internet. Bwhhh. True story - I could try and track him down if you would like. .:skip

well no I have not talked with sunpath about the free handle - though we have been communicationg about other aspects of the rig. I was just looking for opinions about said device as it ocoured to me that I have never seen a jav with one of these handles. yup

I will be ordering an odyssey soon and notice on sunpaths website that they offer a freefly pud option. That’s great but I do not think I have actually ever seen this option on an odyssey – I’ve seen it on many wings systems but never a Jav. Does it secure in the bock the same way as on the wings systems. Does anyone have one, any comments, or even pictures? Thank you thank you. out .:skip
