Dave, What Skyride does with its fake pages for fake DZ's can not be legal. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

The Article seems to be an accurate description of part of Skyride/Thrillplanet/Spotations/ASC et al's web practices. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

And to be clear a USPA BSR applies to every MEMBER of USPA who conducts Tandem Instruction. I think it is a step in the right direction. USPA should not be dictating the age in which one can start to skydive. In this case they fell back to Manufacturers rules, some may see no difference and may even see a further restriction. But now is there is away to legally protect the Manufacturers, then we can do away with the age debate. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

I agree, the tradition will continue. Good job by all! Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

In reading the responses it soudns more like a suit "fit" problem to me. Ido not have as many hours in a tunnel as some (Les than 100 but well over 50) and have never had a "rash". I have always worn my suits and all have been fitted for me. I ahve worn under armor style clothing under them but only in the cooler temps. Dress for the Temps is my advice, if your suit fits well. That is a cool skydive, reminds me of "Black Majik" fro ma few years back. But that is really not how one should be conducting an AFF jump. I agree one should have skills that may incorporate FF moves to catch up to a student, but the AFF-I should be on their belly once caught up. Remember a lot of Students use Us as a reference for up and down. Just like they think the Earth is Relative to them on exit, no matter how many times we tell, show and preach to them about relative wind. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. Yeah I read that too and am glad they still share like that. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

What I learned in my first 100 AFF-I jumps.

This move was taught to me by an AFF I/E who had a deep understanding of 4-way RW and competed in the same field. I would also like to add to the OP's observations ,CLEAR eye protection for the student and AFF-I's (and Coaches), you can convey a lot of info with your eyes, but not if you can't see them. The idea is to get people to WATCH the videos, not shut them off. You're just thinking of my calendar shots from 20 years ago. Make a T-shirt from those pics and wear that for her! Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

He obviously didn't know about the good old "spit" test, we used to talk about back in the good old roundie days. If you are under canopy and wondering about your descent rate, lob a big goobie into space. If it falls below you, you are OK. If it goes up.....cutaway.... Make sure you a are not facing into the wind, or it'll come back in your face...although under a ramair you might want to lob it out to one side.... Too add: if your matched in decent rate, judgment call and prepare to CHPLF Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

It got trapped in the main container by a modification that he wanted done to make a better airfoil for wing suit flying. The super tack apparently got stitched to the main d-bag or a portion of the main canopy or lines and the reserve was fired into the horse shoe like malfunction. This resulted in a main reserve entanglement that was of no use, not enough drag to survive the impact. All written from memory, so please excuse any missed details. Attention Indiana Skydivers

Sounds a bit far fetched. And in another post it appears USPA was against it, or working to have it not go to a vote. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -

I spoke to a few RW dudes in Florida last night and they said in the 4=way world those where the only changes. VFS, big uproar apparently. But as I am a "Freeflailer" I am not up to speed on that world. Well, I am not up to speed on 4-way FS either, but I try as I am a fan. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. I didn't look to hard at 13's turn directions. Neat trick of left comp is a left turn and right comp is a right turn. Block 1 may be a bear in the tunnels! Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

So how would the driver rolling the window down all the way, have done anything to help the BP determine his citizenship? It would have helped set the scene of a compliant and helpful person, rather than someone out to be awkward. Have you ever tried to talk next to a busy road? It is very difficult to hear against the background noise. And do you really think the window being all the way down would have helped the agent determine citizenship when he never asked about it? He asked about car ownership (which the driver answered). Don't you think if the driver were asked, "Are you a U.S. citizen" instead, that he would have answered that question? That questi0on was brought up about 2:40~ in the video. I still did not hear or see where the BPA Violated the Constitution. I did see where the driver acted like and asshat and do not think he nor your methods are helping any cause. Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

When are you going to look into where the money came from? It wasn't from the high jacking, so where did it come from? Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Do you mean what happened to the remainder of the $200,000, if Kenny was the guy? First $16,500 went to the house in Bonney Lake, $5,000 to Dawn Andrusko, the sister of the alleged accomplice. Kenny set up a post office box back down in Sumner after he moved up to Bonney Lake and starting buying gold and silver through the mail, another $3,000 to pay off an old promissory note on another lot, ten dollars to purchase the adjoining lot next to his house...and The Beat Goes On. Was any of that actually from the high jacking? No serial numbers match from the high jacking in all those transactions, correct? the only serial numbers to be found after the high jacking are the ones on the river bed. So where did all that money KC threw around come from? Matt An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
