I only have 10 Skydives and 2 Base jumps on my V4. For me it is more easy to compare the suits on base jumps. On my first ever base jump with the V4 I flew further then I flew on all my V3 jumps from that exit (high nose in LB). And because the pull is a bit more different than the V3 I pulled very high and still hat more horizontal range than in around 20 jumps with my V3 from that exit. The suit inflate faster then the V3. Mexico City is a very nice city... if you don't look like a paranoid american from 1 mile distance you will have a great time. Bring your rig and contact one of the locals. The Skydivers of Mexico City are the reason why I Skydive and Basejump. Honestly, I felt much more save walking at night thru Mexico City than walking thru NYC. Hey Shah, Please do not remove the vid from your presentation. Ueli loved what he did and he knew the risks. He chose to to do it anyways. Uelis passion was Wingsuit flying. He lived for this. He was a ambassador of our sport and he was very good in introducing and explaining this to the "normal" citizens. I don't think with his death he would like this to be stopped. ok, maybe I'm totally off now, but why do all new Wingsuits that have bee thrown on the market during the last 1 or 2 years look like copies of Robis suits??? - shape - Wingtip grippers - air inlets - connecting system - etc Is Robi the only one out there with own ideas? It comes with mounting points that use a 3M adhesive that will stick to your helmet. It won't fall off. One of the guys at ZHills had to put in an insane amount of work with tools to remove one. The plastic that attaches to the camera case will probably fail first. @DSE: Got a guy at my DZ that jumps a CX7 and I've noticed the colors on that look much "richer". Just deeper, more vivid. Colors pop more which makes my gopro look a little washed out in comparison. No complaints though, the gopro is like a third the cost. I used the mounting pad with 3M to glue the socket on my helmet. ok, I don't want to highjack this thread... I also met Eli in Perris a couple of times when we (Mexican Skydiving crew) came to do some coaching jumps and Windtunnel with Eli (and Fritz, Alasja Hi and Mike...) and I was shocked when I got the news that he died Skydiving in Lauterbrunnen. He was always smiling and full of good vibes. My thoughts go to his family! But this accident was a skydiving related (proxi flying out of a helicopter). You can say it was a Wingsuit accident. In our sport you choose the risks yourself. I agree (and I do it myself) that you should choose the risks differently if you have kids. And most of my friends, myself inlcuded, do this. I got my copy yesterday and of course had to watch the DVD imediatly... After Fly the line 1 I did not think this can be toped. But it’s possible! Fly the line 2 takes the terrain flying a step further. Breathtaking jumps in terms of flying so close you can almost see the ants on the rocks and also breathtaking from the scenery. There are lots of jumps that no one has seen (or jumped) before. This DVD is not just for BASE Jumpers, it is for all kind of Wingsuit pilots. Watching this DVD made me realize that this discipline of BASE Jumping actually only has the Exit in common with the conventional BASE Jumping. Here the focus clearly is the flying the body(in a very extreme way). BASE is just the tool that allows to do this extreme stuff. It is Wingsuit flying in its purest form where the pilots actually can measure (in relation to the fixed object) how they are flying. Also very nice editing.
