My friend Won 2 tandems from 95.5 wbru, a local radio station in Rhode Island. -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings -
i had 2 cutaways before i got my A. first was a nasty lineover, not packed by me. second was a toggle with no steering line attached to it on rental gear. -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings

How many hours do you usually sleep at night?
idlewild70 replied to Superman32's topic in The Bonfire
4-6 hours. I work all day and go to school 3 nights a week, so between work, school and skydiving i dont really have the time to get all the sleep i want and need. cant wait for school to be over. i am going to crash like its my job. -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings -
thats funny. who has the time to make that though. -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings
-
thanks B. i will be using it in florida in january. editing for typos -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings

my first was in rhode island at BPSC. i had a lineover on my canopy that would not clear, and the canopy was not steerable so i chopped it. i landed in the LZ on this one. the second one was on rental gear at pepperell. using their gear, i deployed. i had a good canopy (pd 280) over my head. i grabbed the toggles and as i was pulling them down to flare the right one was no longer attached to the steering line, needless to say i was not happy. i tried rear risers, but was getting nothing from them. i was pulling so hard, i lifted myself out of the harness, and i did not have any controllability so i chopped it and had an uneventful reserve ride. i landed out, but the field i landed in was bigger then my home DZs LZ. and yes i kept my handles on both cutaways and i even kept the steering toggle. -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings
-
it was, but i could have done with out the 2 cutaways. -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings
-
Thanks. its not like i packed it though. -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings
-
it only took: 9 months 4 dropzones in 3 states and 2 cutaways. -Fish Blue skies, Soft landings

idlewild70 replied to Nimitz88's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
