The reality is that people love her; she gets press. People hate her; she gets press. The media gives her fame and fortune. Some people like to be public icons - whether it gives them a sense of purpose, meaning or just popularity - they like the sensation. Personally I wouldn't want that lifestyle. I don't value that purpose. And I don't really have a lot respect for that population, thus... I don't live it and I don't have too many celebrity friends. Might be my loss, I don't know. I'm sure not all of the socially elite are shallow and it's likely that most of them are more frustrated by the press than in love with it. But... the truth is that her notoriety is by her choice. This situation isn't just one bad "oops"... she has made a few choices here that has brought her more press. She likes the press. -
I think it would be much more annoying to try to marry into it than it was to just do it myself!

Don't know what to think. It is good to increase awareness of organ donation.... but I'm still focused on the vulgarness of the hoax.

Umm... ok. It ranks me a lot higher than I would rank myself. I think that focus on money should not be the way to "value" a person.... of course, some could say, it's easy for me to say that ranking where I did. But even with the money in the bank, there's a lot more to me as a PERSON than what the checkbook register reads.... there are some doctors or lawyers or even millionaires/billionaires that I wouldn't waste my time on (wouldn't spend a minute shopping with Paris Hilton). I have friends with nothing and friends with the convience of wealth. My friends are friends because of who they are.... but it's still an interesting site.
