I was hoping anyone could provide me with info on organising a base jump. Is the best way to avoid angry police to notify them first? What is the general penalty for the jump.. how to organise the boat.. etc.. etc..? Where are the guys who have thrown themselves off this piece of concrete?! edit for site name ~TA

Thanks for the advice Tonto! Appreciate it. I think it's a matter of not rushing things - I've had a think about it, and believe I'm probably rushing into a turn and not keeping it controlled. The water spray analogy is a big help - would you suggest slight movements of the arms as well? Or is the rotational chest enough to put body into a controlled turn? Cheers Boet, Jon de Wet

Hey guys, I'm from Melbourne Australia. I did my first AFF jump earlier this year, and have fallen in love with this sport - can't stop thinking about it etc.. etc.. Since my first jump I have arrived at AFF level 5 - but failed last level of course. My money is dwindling and am having trouble getting funds together for each new level. Is it possible to transfer from an AFF course to a static line course, and skip to a later level - making jumps $65 instaed of $185 (= extra for each failed level)? Otherwise - any ideas on how to pass level 5??!! (2 x 360 degree turns exit 10,000 ft AGL). I try to turn but kinda lose it.. and then before i know it I'm at 4000 ft! Thanks and blue skies, Jon d
