  1. Hey, I just wanted to wish the happiest of happy birthdays to my husband, KCJUMPER a.k.a. patrick!!! It's not actually until tomorrow, the 25th, but I thought I'd get a jump on it to make his day special. Happy 24th, Patrick!!!
  2. what type of grown man sleeps with young boys who he just randomly invites over? what a mistake....
  3. Hookahs are sweet. It's so smooth you don't even know you're smoking. Strawberry is great!!!
  4. Approximately how many jumps did you have before you were able to complete your graduation dive successfully? I know you have to have at least 25, but it seems like it's going to take a bit longer than that for me to be comfortable with all the maneuvers required to do my graduation dive. Did it take you longer than 25 jumps to get your A?
  5. This is just another reason why I skydive. You never know what will happen to you, so you have to live life by the fullest. My thoughts and prayers are with that family.
  6. "When a stranger calls." It's an older movie, but it still scares me to this day. The babysitter is left alone in the house, and the kids are already in bed. She keeps getting phone calls asking "Have you checked the children?" It turns out the creepy murderer dude is making the calls from upstairs...
  7. I'd have to say that that is pretty gross... but then again, if I left a loofah in a public shower, I wouldn't come back and use it again... for that exact reason.
  8. I think living together is a very smart idea. Imagine the very first time living with that person being the day you get married. What an adjustment. Marriage is such an adjustment as it is, without having to adjust to someone else's habits, etc.
  9. I made a tandem jump in Oahu in January. Jump run was right over the ocean. On one side you have ocean, and on the other, there are beautiful mountains!! It was gorgeous.
  10. What a dumbass. Did he not pay attention to anything they told him, as in: this is your cutaway handle, this is your reserve handle... And seriously, you're flying towards power lines... STEER AWAY.
  11. Ok, well I guess that makes more sense then....
  12. Isn't it technically against USPA guidelines for people to "double dip." By this I mean, performing more than one task at a time: Pilot and jumpmaster. It just seems a bit dangerous to me for your jumpmaster to be the pilot. What if emergency procedures needed to be handled, for instance, student in tow? How can your instructor observe the student while also flying the plane?
  13. When you climb out on the strut, has your instructor/jumpmaster already left the plane? Or is the pilot your instructor? Where I jump, the jumpmaster is in charge of pulling in the static lines, etc., so that all the pilot needs to concentrate on is his flying.
  14. I actually learned to pack before I even started jumping because my husband taught me. The way it worked out, I had packed for my husband, our friend Hippie, and a student before I ever jumped my own pack job. Now whenever I pack, I call somone over real quick while I strip the canopy to check it out. It gives you a big boost of confidence to jump your own pack job.
  15. yay. me too. I went up for my second 10-second delay, but the pilot took us up to 6200, so I got more like a 20 second delay. Much fun was had by me. I had a slow right hand turn that I corrected. What a fun day!!!
  16. Sweet Chocolate Hupp Gates just saying hi!!
