  1. I taught at Austin Parachute Center and would jump now and then at Ft Hood in '77 and '78. I remember Biggie Rat, Arnold and Shiela Lindley, but that's about it. Always had a good time there.
  2. Wow...saw this thread and recognized many names. Biggie Rat, Arnold and Sheila Lindley just to name a few. I was an instructor/jumpmaster at Austin Parachute Center in Manor and started jumping with the Ft Hood club in '77 (I think), and jumped a Black Spectrum Starlight. My time with the club was kinda short due to getting transferred to SoCal in '79. Patrick Sims
  3. I just heard and am heartbroken. Prayers to Cliff's family... Patrick Sims
  4. I was a Jumpmaster/Instructor for Clark back during the old Bird's Nest days. I last saw Clark in 1998 at the Oshkosh Fly-in. At the time, he was the editor of a newspaper around Georgetown, Texas. Maybe that will help to track him down and get more info on his canopy.
  5. Seems to be a bit of a mixup on nomenclature here. The lines that pull down the apex are called "Centerlines". The "Crownlines" are the lines that go from where the canopy is pulled back down to the pilot chute. A Pap was my first main, made about 100 jumps on it, and still have it.
