I have recently set up a TRV19 and would like some feedback on wide angle lens. I am a freeflyer and have no sight on the helmet. I'm finding that when my partner gets right up to me that I don't get all of him in the frame. I don't want the "fish eye" look but would like to capture more in the frame. Any suggestions as to size and make would be very helpful.

Via Rail will travel from Vancouver to Kamloops and I'm sure will have some kind of access to Alaska. Go to www.vairail.ca for more info. If your interested the Twin Otter stops into Victoria on the way to the boogie and picks up any jumpers that are going. If your here I'm sure we could arrange one way transport.

Totaly awesome dude! For jump #46 you rock. Keep it up.

Your now on to the best way to find out about events in your area. DZ.com has most of the info you need to plan your jumping season. Surf through the events and calander to find out what's going on. Also, adding your name to an email list from Pitt Meadows will keep you up to date on local events. The more you get involved, the more you will hear about upcoming events.

For all those that don't know the longest running boogie in North America is being held in Kamloops BC May 21-24. We have a Twin Otter from Kapowsin and a King Air from Pitt Meadows . Last year also had a Bell 205 Helo which hasn't been confirmed as of this posting. Come one come all. it's a great boogie in a beautiful setting.

Gee, I think your right. We did meet in Eloy.

Sorry Amazon, I'm familiar with the weather in Seattle and Victoria gets far more blue skies. Sorry to burst your bubble. Come on up sometime and see for yourself.

Having just been to the holiday boogie in Eloy I can say that if it weren't for the solo jumps I did my head down would not be as good as it is today. I feel you learn on every jump including solo's. And I also feel as a freeflyer that solo's give you the opportunity to learn without putting yourself or others in danger of collisions.

So, after 16 mths as a skydiver and 270 jumps I've finally become a member of DZ.com. I live in Victoria BC Canada which is just about the only year round drop zone in Canada. I'm a freeflyer and have recently taken up flying a vid cam as well. This year saw my first holiday boogie in Eloy where I met several great people and made many new friends. As my skydiving career continues I look forward to meeting many more. One of the things that attracts me to this sport is the people. Meeting people who are like minded has been an added benefit of participating in this sport. And of course the parties are fantastic. I look forward to many good years in skydiving.
