I haven't been here in a while, but for some reason I wanted to come and vent. I wrote a few months ago about being deployed. Then as it turned out I didn't go. Well, I am already at my Mob. Station in Ft. Bliss, TX. i should be leaving in a few months. I would very much like anyone to write or e-mail. thank you, Sandi.

I just wanted to let everyone know how I was doing. I did not get deployed to Iraq, however; very good friends of mine have. My unit is gone. A dear friend of mine just came back about 3 months ago. I saw him today... Packing his gear to go again. He was so nervous, he was even shaking. I asked what was wrong, and all he had on his face was a blank stare. I wonder what kinds of things he saw the first time he was there. I wonder if he can hande another tour. I wonder when I will be going...Will I be like the many who hae seen too much, or will I simply fall into a group of people who have so much to say and no one to listen? I am scared for my fellow soldiers. And I am scared for myself...***ONLY THE DEAD HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT OF TOMORROW... Sandi

ok, so I have been a tad upset with the military lately. I had a few too many drinks and decided to bash the Guard... eh, it happens.

the guard says..."the army national guard...You can". and "Achieve your goals.". Don't buy into the crap. one can achieve their goals without the military.... Just a vent.
