    I think you should be OK, although you may need to spend lots of time at the DZ. Which DZ are you doing AFF at? Also depends how close to the DZ you live. You dont want to be booking time off work when the weather is crap. As long as you get your AFF and consols done before the winter, i.e. October time you should be OK, IMHO. Weather tends to be on downward trend in the North from that time of year. ------------------------------------------------- Woooaaaaaa!!! Woooaaaa!!! I'm gettin' off it!

    Is it? Ive never been asked what canopy is in my container. Maybe it should be. I disagree. You can learn to control your canopy without doing HP landings. I see myself as a safe canopy flyer and have spent lots of time learning to control it appropriately in all situations and have NEVER done or attempted a HP landing. ------------------------------------------------- Woooaaaaaa!!!     I did not say to make their first skydive, but to understand the consequences of what could happen. I really dont see how a 14 year old (I know I couldnt at that age) can decide whether or not their life is worth putting at risk.     i think you misunderstand me. By life expereince i dont mean activities like that. I know when I was 14 I used to think I knew what I wanted and that nothing would shock me.
