You wanna be a BASE jumper and you dont like the idea of not having a reserve?...hmm....stay with skydiving..OK?.. Your biggest problem with skydiving gear is it's off heading openings....my BASE gear is rock on everytime....skydiving gear=bad juju marc BSBD

The key is what type of TIA you had.....or someone who wants to skydive has had....TIA's are definately an indication of bad things to come if it is not taken VERY seriously.. You can have a TIA that results in full hemiparalysis...then the symptoms are relieved in a few hours(most likely due to a clot that then cleared itself up)....or just simple blackout...or even some seizure activity caused by a TIA... Take TIA's very seriously...or they will end up biting you in the ass later...and usualy in a BIG way.... marc BSBD

I saw this happen this weekend...girl had a cutaway....her helmet got popped off(Z-1)...still dont know if they found it...what sucked for her is she had line twistes on her main...cutaway(with an RSL)....and then had line twists on her reserve..... marc BSBD
