In what sense are they a modern extension of your strict definition of wokeness? if they are though, does that make Ron DeSantis the wokest man in America?
-
Is it? Why? If you want effective social work programs as well as effective law enforcement agencies then you support defunding the police.

To be fair, name a major multinational arms deal that didn’t involve bribery. BAESystems has bribed the Saudis alone billions to sell them Tornados, Typhoons, Hawk trainers, radar systems and airbase infrastructure. The UK certainly bribed them to buy Lightnings in the ‘60s too. AgustaWestland bribed Indian officials with tens of millions of dollars for a helicopter deal then lost the money and the contracts when the Indian government changed and the bribery was exposed.

And that high AoA caused loss of control and further uncommanded pitch up as the tail surfaces encountered turbulence from the wings. On an aircraft with extremely small and heavily loaded wings it was unforgiving of speed mismanagement on landing or engine trouble on takeoff - which it was also prone to. Combine that with downward firing ejection seats on the early models…

Hehe yeah. Lots of stories about Buccaneer pilots getting nosebleeds any time they went over 50ft

Stripped down Starfighters did set a number of performance records the Lightning couldn’t match. However the real win for the Lightning was that (despite being designed as a pure missile armed bomber interceptor) it was highly manoeuvrable and handled like a dream. EE designers had realised early in the process that a high T-tail design that the Starfighter went with was extremely problematic. By contrast the Starfighter managed to combine the two traits of having the turning circle of an oil tanker while also being a total psychopath, constantly balanced on the edge of actively attempting to snap out of control and kill you. The Luttwaffe’s chief test pilot evaluated the F104 and said it was unfit for service in any role, recommended the Blackburn Buccaneer as a strike aircraft and Lightning as an interceptor. Luftwaffe command kept him quiet as the decision had already been made to purchase F104s for political reasons.

Aside from your entire premise being a massive stretch from what was actually said, it is nice to hear you’re in favour of the defund the police movement. More people should be. If the US establishment didn’t intentionally. make it more difficult to collate and examine gun violence data then maybe he wouldn’t be limited to only being able to examine a certain type of gun murder.

Why does it matter who is winning when the only priority is to stop the war? Russia should retreat back to its borders and make peace, shouldn’t it?

I thought he was joking. Where’s your sense of humour?

Bullshit. After BLM brought the idea of ‘woke’ into mainstream discussion the right started using it as a catch all term for any perceived lefty thing they disagree with. The major right wing newspapers over here have taken to calling cycle lanes woke. Seriously - they think that not driving a car is woke. Explain that to me? At a big sports event last year one of the favourites was arrested the night before because he angrily confronted two kids who had been repeatedly knocking on his door and running away past midnight. An Internet forum commentator said ‘woke parenting’ was to blame. What the fuck does that even mean? He’s not criticising wokeness, he’s criticising zealotry. He’s not criticising wokeness, he’s criticising laziness.

An Inconvenient Truth was Al Gore’s movie. He’s the only credited writer of it.

Lol, no. Absolutely not that same circle. How many guns do you own and still don’t know how far bullets can go when you fire them upwards?
-
Or they didn’t want to spray 2000 rounds of ammo into a massive circle of ocean that might have boats in it. That was a preproduction dedicated record setting airframe that absolutely did not have any armament fitted, and likely no ability to install any.

Try this from the same paper four months ago Russia and Ukraine each have suffered over 100,000 casualties, the top U.S. general says. Seems like proof that you’re lying about what the mainstream media says, doesn’t it? So again, tell me where you’re getting your ‘true’ news from?
-
If the priority is to stop the war, what does it matter who is ‘winning’? Russia should retreat and end the war, don’t you agree?

Lol. Joe every other freakin day: Why doesn’t everyone else spend as much on defence as we do!!!? You guys all suck and your cheap military equipment is shit and you should be spending way more to catch up!! Joe today: Our military equipment is way too expensive, why are we wasting money on this useless crap?

Exact performance envelope numbers for any current fighter are highly classified. Anything available online is either an approximation or a guess. Also, being able to reach 65,000ft isn’t the same as having precise enough control for gun targeting at 65000ft. Plus it’s a very big balloon and gun rounds are quite small and would almost certainly go straight through without exploding. If it then comes down so slowly it drifts over deep water in the meantime you’ll end up spending way more looking for the bits than you’ve saved saved on the price of a missile.
-
The Aim9X in combination with the F22’s Scorpion visor Helmet Mounted Integrated Targeting system can have its seeker head and trajectory controlled by the pilot’s eye movement. They can literally look at where they want it to go. The idea is they can shoot the missile way off track with the target outside the seeker head’s normal field of view and bring it round until the seeker picks up the target and takes over. In this case with a big and slow target it doesn’t seem crazy to think that the helmet mounted targeting system could be precise enough to manually guide the missile straight in. Ultimately there must be something for the seeker to be able to see in order to detonate the warhead though I’d imagine.

It’s not AOC’s film.

And more chance of recovering intact equipment to study. A BBC article had a hilarious ‘eyewitness’ quote. An eyewitness on the coast, Hayley Walsh, told BBC News she saw three fighter jets circling before the missile was fired, then "we heard a huge boom, the house shook". Right, it was 20km up and 10km out over the water but I’m sure that Sidewinder warhead was incredibly loud!

Who’s telling you the truth? That’s a lie. The mainstream media says troop losses are approximately even, plus horrendous Ukrainian civilian casualties.

“That's all we're serving. We're not forcing anyone to eat there that doesn't want to.” Cameron made arrangements for all on-set catering to be plant-based, though cast and crew were welcome to eat meat at a close-by off-set café https://www.veganfirst.com/article/james-cameron-reveals-his-vegan-values-and-served-only-vegan-food-on-sets-of-avatar-productions Wildly speculating is fun and all, but this wasn’t difficult to find…

Really? Sure that’s not just the solar panels? F or the instruments it’s probably no coincidence there’s a massive multinational fighter combat/tactics exercise going on in central US at the moment. Prob trying to hoover up as much radar / signals data as possible to see how western airforces fight and coordinate. They Chinese have already got the best tech from the F35 in action, now they’re learning how to use it. Several recently retired western fighter pilots are getting paid ‘set up for rest of life’ amounts of money to teach modern western tactics to the Chinese Air Force too.

So when people disagree with the content, that has nothing whatsoever to do with sense of humour, does it? That was just you trying to distract from being absolutely wrong about Hunter’s rent, wasn’t it?
