Question about the Cypres. I am pretty sure that the first number (Mine is 6280) is the voltage of the battery in the AAD, 6.28 Volts. What would a low indication read?? I was just wondering at what level the AAD would be unsafe to jump, even if before its 4 year check and battery replacement. Does anybody know what the lowest voltage that is safe to jump?

I guess I could but I am going to Egypt and there are no active drop zones there... I would just end up stpring it over there and I dont really have that much room.

I just got it myself!! It took forever to find it and pick it out. It was really hard to find the Big boy rig so I finally just went to Mirage in Deland and they helped me put it together, all BRAND NEW! I cant part with it yet, it only has like 30 jumps on it!!

I was wondering the proper sotrage method for gear. I am leaving on an extended assignment and wont be able to jump for the next two years. How should I store my rig?? I figured I should open the main and pop the reserve. I also figured I should chop the main to prevent the memory sitting two years would create. I dont have a Cypres so that isnt a problem. Am I close here? Is there any thing else I missed?
