  3. arrêtez, je voudrais qu'il m'achète mon instinct... bon, la ninja, on oublie, c'est de la merde. mais pour l'instinct, avec un glisseur approprié et un réglage des "demi-freins" adapté, les ouvertures sont tout à fait correctes. le recovery n'est pas si court, bien sur moindre que les tri-cell, mais vraiment plus long que les springo ou BTpro. par contre les avants sont très durs, il faut une bonne technique pour l'envoyer. allez, la même en amerlock : the ninja2, you forget, it's shit. some instinct can open hard, BUT, with a good slider and an appropriate adjustment of "half-brake", openings are quite correct. the recovery is not so short, really longer than the Springo or BTpro. the front risers are strong, but she fly well with harness. niques tout, chies d'dans...
  4. for sure, like ian said, the recovery arc is only one factor among many others. but, tried to demo a hurricane. i was personaly very surprised by the recovery arc of a 120 at 1.46, and the 105 at 1.76. just a bigger packing volume and strong opening. niques tout, chies d'dans...

  6. may i have misinterpreted the question? you could probably do a better answer, so dont be afraid, and teach me. niques tout, chies d'dans...
  7. 1) do competition. when you are under 2s on the speed round, you know. whit big canopy, 120-90, 270° is enough, when your canopy was "vertical", you dont need a lot of time to be at full speed. with smaller canopy, 70-90, you maybe need more °, from 300° to 700°... 2&3) when you turn slowly, your canopy was not in full dive, he become to recovery early. if you "snap" heavy, with the harness input? your canopy dive more faster, and can have a shorter recovery arc after. for hitting the doors, that's pretty good, BUT!! that's not for safety!! niques tout, chies d'dans...
  8. Lillo fill the pond last week, (but hot weather come, it will empty soon?) so, buy a JVX 75, add 8 pounds, and do a 630°! for sure start higher, but finish Hard and Low... niques tout, chies d'dans...
  9. soory for my bad language and understanding, but, can you explain in depth your "Tail flutter"? is it a "stall-start"? on some JVX, on hard dive, i heard a caracteristics "Flap-flap-flap-flap-flap..." by the "stabilribs"? or external ribs? not the tail. the tail stay strong as you do not exaggeratedly hang your rears. niques tout, chies d'dans...

  11. the PD rds was the UPT rds, and the UPT rds was the PD rds... nothing change. the velo open maybe not so well, so, they dont "assume" terminal opening... something about the lines, she can broke on terminal opening? for sure on my old FX, i dont use the "SNAP". and i turned in a pretty turnkey, the "SWIVEL". niques tout, chies d'dans...
  12. i do terminal openings with full rds. nothing special. warning! I put almost one minute longer for packing... niques tout, chies d'dans...
  13. +1 lucky to me, i've benefited from coaching for Landing at my home DZ. and therefore, fully elliptic at 300jumps, and Xbrace 2.4WL at 500jumps, now training for swoop comp.... ok, the progress is not "extraordinary", that's because I'm not good. BUT, without any injury. just a few "roll-ball". niques tout, chies d'dans...

  16. on my FX, 94, 89 and 84, ten years old and a few thousand jumps each, the sliders are "perforated" at the point where these outside-lines seem rub and burn. niques tout, chies d'dans...
  17. but nno! come on Leon, stay with us! just to say, in France, the "rules" are much harder than yours! and, in the past, many "DZmanager" not allowed me to jump with my canopy. but! all let me show them my "skill" with parachutes of a more consistent size. in only two or three jumps with rental gear, I could show them how i do the exercises they were asking me. have you try something like this? niques tout, chies d'dans...

  22. before replacing the slider, you can already remove the deployement bag and extraction, simply by modifying your current slider. as you can see in the PD .pdf explaining how to use the RDS, you just have to install a "lanyard"between the slider and the attachement point of the deployement bag and killline. easy to use, and remove if you want. when opening, the slider go down with the extraction, you fix the slider with, for example, a "Skytie", and you pick up and slip into your suit all the deployement bag, kill line, pilotchute. ok, the slider stay on your neck, maybe he disturb you for freestyle swoop, but, for speed and distance, you gain less drag on the topskin. niques tout, chies d'dans...
