  1. heal fast, Paul - prayers are there for you. see you soon -Mo ----------------------------------------------------- "... how can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?!"
  2. *** Monique's husband Tim was one of them back at an AFF course in 94, so I learned how fast and unexpected it can happen. Hope he wears one now? "ITS YOUR CHOICE". LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY! I agree with Ed 100% - it is a choice and it is great that people have the freedom to make that choice. I don't harp on people for not wearing them - that is their personal choice... I will however, encourage it to newbies that ask if they really are necessary to wear. And yes, Ed, Tim wears a helmet on EVERY skydive. I have known him for 9 years and have never seen him NOT wear one. "... how can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?!"
  3. Wearing a helmet saved my life once... I'll never jump without one. Besides... how cool are you if you're a vegetable or even worse, dead?? I also think that it helps to set an example for the less experienced in our high speed sport.
  4. I was one of the participants at the BMI course, and really have nothing but GREAT things to say about the course. The instructors - Jari, Scott, Chuck, Asaf & Kim were very professional and thorough in their teaching methods. I learned a large amount of info over the weekend, including many tips and techniques (thank you Chuck for the getting out of the booties tip!). As with any instructor rating, all of us that left with BMI ratings will continue to learn new things when actually jumping with our students. I definitely feel much stronger and more confident in teaching someone about Birdman suits and how to properly and responsibly fly them. Overall, I thought that the course went very well - professional, informing, and of course, a hell of a lot of fun!! "... how can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?!"
