A few others report issues with Sunpath, but I have the opposite experience. A year and a half ago, my husband bought a used Javelin with about 100 jumps on it. He had some questions about hardware slippage, and the leg pads needed to be shortened. They were extremely fast about getting back to him via email, they fixed the slippage issue for free, and changed out the leg pads plus upgraded them to the padded kind for a relatively low fee. I bought a new Javelin, just got it actually. Before I bought, I had shitloads of questions for Dave regarding options and rigging and some other questions about tye dye colors and how it would look. They always responded to my emails within a day, and in several days I had a big envelope of tye dye color swatches to play with in designing my rig. My only complaint was they didn't send any free stuff with the rig. After spending as much as I did with them, you'd think they'd throw in a t-shirt or something.... I got a spiffy fanny pack from cypres and 2 shirts from PD. I guess it's not much of a complaint though Do or do not, there is no try -Yoda

PM Skydivingchad on here. He used it to quit. He was on it for a couple of months, hasn't smoked since starting it about 6 months ago, maybe 4 months with neither Chantix nor smoking. Terry already answered the skyhook questions, but yes, I did get Skyhook, and every other bell and whistle I could possible put on that thing... when I saw the order form, I think I ran the pen dry of ink from checking every possible option box I even got the matching gear bag and mini-rig bag. I just paid my beer penalty on the canopy, so will definitely pay up for the container too. It's the only way there's any decent beer at the DZ anyway... everyone else buys light beer crap! After 7 very long years of putting 75% of my take home pay toward my student loans, they were paid off a few months ago, so I did what any self respecting person freshly out of debt would do... order all new gear! I got the main and reserve (custom color main, of course!) a month ago, and finally, after ages and ages of waiting, the container showed up yesterday. Isn't she pretty????

First, I'd get your doc's permission in writing, the dropzone may want to see it before they'll let you jump (and you definitely need to disclose this to the dropzone!). We do teach you how to fall (do a search for PLF or parachute landing fall on here) in order to prevent injury should you have a hard or fast landing (and it will happen at some point!). Learning how to do a PLF well will be a good thing for you.. and any new jumper for that matter. I'd also think about getting a little tunnel time before AFF. I've had a handful of students with similar injuries as yours, and all of them were slightly assymmetrical with their legs in freefall, which caused a bit of a turn on their that C skydives (when we first let go of you). Getting tunnel time will help you pinpoint that problem if it exists, teach you to fix it fairly quickly (and more inexpensively than several AFF skydives), plus give you boatloads of confidence regarding your ability to freefall even with the limited ankle movement. One of my students had been pinned under a car and crushed everything from the waist down, so it's very possible to do quite well as a jumper with your injuries. Here's a wild and crazy thought... how about he get a repack done so that he neither pencil packs nor gets in a plane with an expired cypres? Skydiving is not an essential basic need of life like food, water, air. Sitting out a few hours or a weekend in order to get a repack done will not hurt a jumper. A jumper who has an expired cypres should be smart enough to not get themselves in that situation to begin with, it's not like anyone keeps it a secret when the cypres expires

I'm with none of the above. My husband spent about $600 on my ring, and it is absolutely perfect for me. White gold, small emerald, 1 small diamond on each side of the emerald. Small and simple, unobtrusive, and has green in it. It's not about the money at all. I would not leave a rabbit alone in a yard, partly because they can escape, partly because a neighbor's dog or a passing hawk can get to them. As long as you are there watching the rabbit, no problem. My two do get taken outside in the summer to sun and nibble on the grass, my yard is not fenced, but I am always very close to them. Here's a thought... get your next pet from a rescue instead of propagating bunny mills and snake harvesting from the wild. Kind of a pet peeve since so many rabbits end up abandoned (I have 2 rescued rabbits and 1 rescued snake). If it's a boy, get him fixed. Or plan on him humping EVERYTHING. It's very cute
