Tell me whoooo do you loooove, man

Tell me whaaaat, man Tell me what's it you love -- maa-aaan! If you know what that's from -- you're cool! Blue skies, -Jeffrey -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" -
The Indigo Girls -- try "Prince of Darkness," "Secure Yourself," "Love's Recovery." All awesome, beautiful acoustic songs! Then there's Neil Young's "Old Man," and "Don't Let It Bring You Down." Four Non-Blondes had that song "What's Up?" that's cool. It has electric parts, but could probably be done nicely on acoustic. Dan Fogelberg, "The Leader of the Band" is a gorgeous song, very sentimental. So is "Longer." Can you do Led Zeppelin's "Bron Yr Aur"? It's awesome! I have to say, I envy you being able to play guitar. I have a guitar, but have not been able to apply myself much to learning to play it. I know some chords, but cannot yet reliably finger them, my strumming is for shit... shall I go on? Maybe some day... Blue skies, -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Actually, I think the commies would've ended them real fast; KGB style... The liberals only think of communism as an abstract utopian ideal. Dude, if you start trying to tell me there's no Utopia, next thing you know I'll be questioning my faith in Santa Claus! -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... These terrorist animals are not taking revenge, they are striking us specifically and exclusively because their religion teaches them to HATE us, for various reasons. They will not rest, or feel that they have pleased their god, until they have either converted us to their twisted religion, or eradicated us. Their actions prove this every day. We do not "become as bad as they are" if we exterminate them before they get us. Why? Because if they were not trying to do it to us, we would have no interest in doing it to them. THAT is enough of a difference to retain between them and us. Of course KILLING makes us similar to them -- there is no way around us. They also have two nostrils, just like we do. This whole "be careful not to be just as bad as they are" thing is an illusion!! We don't turn into them just because we kill them to preserve ourselves. They would be doing it to us. And maybe you're right, a nuke would not get them all, and would kill innocents. Those "innocents" harbor these people; they hide them from us; they fail to police themselves and eliminate the terrorists from their own ranks; they do not stand up to the evil among them, forcing us to do it. It's like in elementary school: the teacher punishes everyone, and has to, because no one will admit which kid threw the spitball. So it is in the middle east. They refuse to give up the terrorists, so we are forced, for our own survival's sake, to hurt them all in order to hurt "the minority." But if, beyond that, we were RUTHLESS in the way we pursued, tortured, and killed terrorist and their supporters, we would do one of two things: eliminate all who have it in their hearts to be terrorists, or scare them so bad that they would be afraid to be terrorists. But holding ourselves "morally above" people who don't give a shit about moral relativism is just stupid and self-defeating. It's like refusing to kick someone in the groin in a street fight when the guy's going to kill you if you lose the fight. WTF is the point of fighting by gentlemen's rules?! That's DEATH. Dude . . . pour yourself a cup of de-caf. I don't drink coffee. Could you imagine if I did?! Glad to hear it. 'Cause if you weren't, we'd have to brand you as unAmerican and have to tell you to go move somewheres else, commie! (that was a bone thrown to our liberal friends who, in their simplistic view of things, actually believe that that's what we believe) Blue skies, -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" -
Exactly. But I am not currently willing to simply take a vote from Bush so that Kerry may win. -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!"

They should fuckin' disband. They're useless and corrupt. Apparently most of the countries of the world wish to leave it to the U.S. to keep order and sanity, and we even aren't that great at it, but at least we're fuckin' trying. -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Give a monkey a piano, and he'll beat it with a stick. Give a monkey the internet, and he'll lop people's heads off on it. Oh, fuckin' puhlease. Just what is your sound, logical rationale for NOT killing these pukes? That "it makes us just as bad as they are"?! I tell you what -- I'll deal with being just as bad as they are -- in a peaceful world bereft of psychotic, fundamentalist religious extremist murderers who worship a god that they claim condones their sick crimes. Yes, I think I could deal very nicely with being "as bad as they are." But for my life, I can't figure out why you seem to fuckin' sympathize with our enemies like this! -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" -
It's just a feel-good kitten, useless for accomplishing anything real. It certainly isn't going to protect anyone from assault-weapons, despite what the liberals will tell you. Blue skies, -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!"

PERFECT POST. EXACTLY! The liberals -- here represented by Rather -- are intellectually, morally, ideologically and ethically BANKRUPT, and this whole debacle proves and underscores that fact plainly. Dude, that "kitten" looks EVIL!! It's making... me... heated... KILL IT!! KILL IT!! END ITS EVIL!! Blue skies,

Damn, those songs take me back... to when I could in good conscience listen to Cat Stevens. Such melodic stuff... The only thing that comes close is some Dan Fogelberg stuff. (Sadly, I read recently that Fogelberg is very ill.) I don't understand... what fucking good did it do to catch on to "Islam's" presence on the flight once it had crossed the fuckin' Atlantic?! If he was a threat, wouldn't the fact that he was already on the plane matter more than detaining him once it landed?! Talk about closing the barn door after the horse is out! Why is he prohibited from entering the U.S.? Has he committed a crime? Renounced his citizenship? What's the reason? Not that I miss anyone who would convert to that nutzo religion like he did. I am not fond of Islam, and I look upon its claims of being a "peaceful" religion as bullshit, and rather moot at this point. Besides, even if it were peaceful, I still would condemn its treatment of women. "Cultural differences," my ass -- it's all about power and subjugation for the aggrandizement of the males in the culture. And why? Because males are physically stronger, and can?? Let me just leave you with a more pleasant thought: "Longer than there've been fishes in the ocean higher than any bird ever flew longer than there've been stars up in the heavens I've been in love with you..." -
Anyone want to see the true nature of our enemies?

The only such video I've seen so far was the one of the Nepalese man beheaded as he lay blindfolded and bound on his back. You could hear him wheezing, drowning in his own blood. It was the most grotesque, saddest thing I have ever seen. I'm sure the murder you're talking about, the current one, is every bit as bad. You are 100% correct. These animals need to be slaughtered like rabid mongrels, because that is essentially what they are. There is nothing immoral, insensitive, inhumane, discompassionate or wrong with feeling this way; it doesn't make us "no better than they are" to kill these pieces of shit, because but for their unwillingness to live and let live with us, there would be no conflict. It is not juvenile to say, "They started it," because the fact that they keep up with it is the only reason we must treat them as our enemy, now and forever, until we destroy them and rid ourselves of the threat they present to our own continued existence. Blue skies, -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" -
Well, I give up. No amount of me telling you honestly what I was about in that post is going to convince you that I'm being on the level with you. So fuck it. If you don't want to believe me when I tell you flat out what I meant, I'm not gonna give a shit and let it worry me. -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... I'm not sure I follow you, here. Is this sarcasm? Moynihan a right winger??! CUOMO a right winger? Do you realize that Cuomo vetoed the death penalty in NY several times after the state legislature eagerly passed it?! So much for serving the will of the people. He unilaterally said "fuck you" to every state rep, and therefore to their constituents. Cuomo a right-winger? Give me a break. I have to assume you're being sarcastic, or else you must not know that Moynihan, Cuomo and Dukakis all were Democrats... Blue skies, -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... "A" gun? "A" gun? Yer kidding, right? Well, assuming that the shooting you're talking about it accidental, that's a different kind of charge from murder which is what I mean when I'm talking about capital punishment. It's not likely I'd face death for it. I don't think this guy's life, or his brothers' (you read the article, right, about how his whole family is murderers?) would be "cut short" for a "first offense." They are long past their first, or probably fiftieth, offenses. And if a depraved murder is your first offense, yes, off to the Chair you go, as far as I'm concerned. "But your honor, he had never been in trouble before he smashed her head with a brick and raped her and left her to bleed to death." SO?! As far as the irrevocability of the death penalty is concerned -- if that is the reason for unwillingness to execute convicts, it essentially says that there is no faith in the justice system to arrive at just verdicts, and it should be standard policy to constantly second-guess jury verdicts, and to distrust that they are fair, just and correct. Yes, occasionally there have been exonerations of convicts on death row. Not sure what to make of that -- I think some "exonerations" are just technicalities but still deal with guilty people. Others may be truly innocent. I think that a cop or prosecutor who messes with justice by concealing exculpatory evidence, etc., adversely affecting a capital case should be subject to capital punishement himself. Best way to handle the problem of corruption in the courts: if you caused someone's wrongful sentence, they go free and YOU serve their sentence. But again, if you're willing to second-guess the justness of a death verdict, that simply is lack of trust in the system itself, and then how could you feel happy about keeping a man in jail all his LIFE instead? Nope, not peaceful. This kind of shit wouldn't happen in a peaceful world. Not even in an unpeaceful but SANE world. Just what the fuck is anyone thinking when they take a brutal murderer and say, "Well, after X years in prison, it'll be okay to let you back out. You'll be an EX-murderer by then!" Trust me, I'm not thinking about things like this when I'm skydiving on the weekends. Blue skies, -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" -
When the liberals stop dancing on the dead at Columbine. Your misinterpretation of the sarcasm and cynicism of my first post evidences a lack of comprehension. It's not my fault. If I'm going to what? You're the one who took me too seriously. If you've read my posts at all in the past, you should know that I have never supported the idea of holding third parties responsible for the actions of criminals, so what I said about Blagojevich (even his name sounds like vomit!) could not have been anything but facetiousness. But it's true, I do hold him responsible for a failed policy. That doesn't make him culpable in the murder, just responsible for a policy that facilitated both the murder and the subsequent escape. If it was well known that the guards there were well equipped with firearms, it is likely that the killer would never have approached to commit this murder. Ever heard anyone say, "I'm a social liberal, but a fiscal conservative"? Arnold is a fiscal conservative (except when it comes to spending millions that the state doesn't have on a useless ban on a kind of gun never used in crime) but a social liberal -- hence the moronic support for the .50 cal. ban. ...if THIS wasn't the constant result of the motherfuckin' liberal pussy way of dealing with criminals! PAROLED MURDERERS?! IF WE TRULY WERE GOING TO KEEP THEM ROTTING IN A CELL WITH FUCKING BREAD AND WATER UNTIL THEY DIED, ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE OF EVER GETTING OUT OF PRISON AGAIN, MAYBE I WOULD STOP SUPPORTING CAPITAL PUNISHMENT. BUT LIBERALS INSIST THAT THEY DESERVE "A CHANCE TO BE A CONTRIBUTING MEMBER OF SOCIETY" AND THE SEVERITY OF THEIR CRIMES BE DAMNED. IT'S TIME TO STOP LETTING LEFTIST ASSHOLES RELEASE THE WORST CRIMINAL SHITBAGS OUT TO MURDER MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE. THIS IS WHAT FUCKIN' HAPPENS, OVER AND OVER. OUR ATTITUDE SHOULD BE, "YOU MURDER, YOU DIE." Blue skies, -Jeffrey - -Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!"
