  1. I've been out of the air for 6-7 months due to a car accident and now am ready and itching to get back up. Thing is i developed an ear infection 2 weeks ago which is about gone. Still have a slight lose of hearing but no pain or discomfort from it. I've jumped once before with the same problem a few years ago and pretty much got a very bad headache from it. Because its been so long since i've been up i'm willing to trade the headache for the jumps just so i can get back up. I know there are doctors and nurses and all who jump and was looking to get some insight on if i am ok to jump or if i should hold off another weekend. I dont know if i can make things any worse than the ear infection is now. Any feedback from anyone who's had the same issue is greatly appreciated.
  2. Last summer i remember that while setting up in the landing pattern that i go from a smoot ride to a very bumpy ride that scares the living shit out of me. The thought of my main collapsing and not recovering makes me nervous. Its usually right around 700-1000 feet up and being that low there is not much if any time for reserve activation. I steer away from things that can cause the turbulance but sometimes still get it. I always hear go to half breaks but i wanted to check on any other information there may be to deal with the turbulance.
  3. Does anyone know if these Sony cameras work with the FF2 helmet. Thanks
  4. Any current videographers have any thoughts on the new Samsung SC-X105L Sports Camcorder?
  5. After a couple hundered more jumps i want to get in to FF. Is there any difference in stability using an open face helmet versus a full face helmet?
  6. Just purchased a pair of birdman pantz and was checking with people who currently use them on what they think about them. Any words of advise on them during freefall and there performance. I've heard something about bending your legs during deployment because you will be a little bit heads down due to the inflation of the pantz. Also heard they are great training wheels for headsdown jumping. No, dont worry i wont be doing that anytiime soon. Any advise or suggestions would be great. Thanks
  7. would there be very much difference in getting the tappered leg in the skydive version as opposed to the bell bottom type. I personaly like the tappered leg more than the baggy bottoms but i want the skydive version not the base version due to the air inlets
