If it's any consolation, I just got scheduled for surgery on Wednesday--tore the ligaments in my thumb The news wouldn't have been quite as bad if I hadn't spent all afternoon Sunday in the clinic for the stupid thing only to be sent home with instruction to contact an orthopedic surgeon today. Insult to injury, the attending actually originally diagnosed it as a dislocated thumb and tried twice to set it for me before throwing in the towel--adds a whole new dimension to pull my finger

Since I've got most of Friday to prepare, are there any requests besides the usual pb cookies and coco rice crispy treats.

This is one way to get me out of the corner. I'm actually working on tomorrows cookies--pb, snickerdoodles, and chocolate chip. Jen, if you want me to stash you some, let me know.
