there's an ald chinese saying that says " think how ever action you take will effect your family 7 generations from now . Another one that says always give your enemy a way out or ou will face there most feirce fighting. That's why they are not afraid to die . they say that this generation is lost and they are fighting for their next generations . on our end ..... yes we need to secure oil for the next 10 -20 years when supplies will be tight ( we don't need to but that's the reasoning behind our mid east polocy ) but it's like chess , to win the game , you don't take a piece every time you can , you play with a stratigy . So what they mean by survival equals victory is that if they bankrupt America ( and there fore Israel ) then they will win . If they need those bunker busters and guided missles and tanks and jets and warships to stalemate 5000 -10000 solders then they will go broke trying to defeat them . Not now or in a ew years .... but in 10 or fifteen years .... and no the oil won't even cover the costs . And after we alienate the rest of the world it will be the us and Israel ( who is no help to us ) against the rest of the world in public opinion . once they move away from the dollar as the standard we are finacailly defeated . _________________________________________ people see me as a challenge to their balance

I have done the plfs from objects on the groung and I will look for an instructor to ask about this as well . ... but my main question is if it is safe to do the plfs while landing and at what speed ( full breaks/flare , half breaks/flare , no breaks/flare ) is it safe to practice at . _________________________________________ people see me as a challenge to their balance

the other day I landed kind of hard . thermal over the tarmac dropped about 10 - 15 feet . I should have plf'd but didn't . I realize that I don't believe in the plf or it definately doesn't come to mind to do it ..... or it's not instinctive or something . I'm thinking I should practice them while landing .Is that safe .... is it safe to practice a plf at un braked speed? is there any technique or regimin for practicing plfs . ..... practice on the ground . prsctice the exact exit your doing with the jm on the ground , when you get in the air muscle memory will be more likely to take over . and bring your outlook to a point that you can't wait to feel the floating free feeling you get ( mental imaging). Too bad, being a Federal facility, that everyone inside was unarmed. Makes it a perfect place for murder. Back in the fifties and earlier in this country, many postal employees were required to carry guns on the job, including airline pilots flying bags of mail. This crap never seemed to happen then. Many of these workplace revenge shootings are nipped in the bud by an armed citizen listen, i'm all about the rights of people to have all the arms they want. but for real , there are alot of work places that don't allow guns , why is it that an unporportional amount of these work places murders are in post offices ? ...... come on any one ? are there any skydiving postal workers ? has there been a study on this ? _________________________________________ people see me as a challenge to their balance

that was definately part of the discusion that day, but the other side of it was it was better for the brake lienes to do it under load. these were both guys with many 1000 jumps, so i don't know for the life of me which is more right ..... i just don't let my lines get twisted though. _________________________________________ people see me as a challenge to their balance

so, to fast forward a bit...... i was at a dz doing a canopy course and the conversation came up as to how to untwist the lines if twisted . it started after the canopycoach told the class that twisted brake lines shorten the lines and effect flare points etc... so the next jump i asked my packer to check and straighten my brake lines. he said they didn't need it ( i always stow the lines when i land), but a rigger there over heard and said it's better to untwist the lines under canopy because they are under tension and will stay untwisted better. wich then led to a debate on weather or not the risk of taking attention away from flying the canopy and the posibility of losing a grip on the handle where worth the risk . i did it and it can be done but can see how it might be easy to lose grip on a handle that way . just wanted to toss that into the mix . _________________________________________ people see me as a challenge to their balance

surprise! the dems and reps are the same thing. the hipocrosy is they both say they represent us and really they represent the people donating money to them and the busineses that they individually own. the real difference is that they disagree on how fast to strip away our rights . there is a fine balance between taxing people enough to where they can get by but don't have enough time to see and take control of their country again, and taxing them too much so they revolt. or instead of taxation you can insert stripping away rights . it's the bastardazation of democracy from european old money/monarchies. anyway, no one is ready to deal with this yet so think of this as a dream. _________________________________________ people see me as a challenge to their balance
