I was talking with my Aunt today on the phone, we always used to be so close, but recently I was with a man that had a lot of money and she sides with him, she still stays in contact with him, and believes what he has to say about our realationship over what I have to say. She says that he was so in love with me, and that I crushed him like a grape (sort of speak) ... He was not a bad man, but not the one for me... and now I am constantly haunted by the fact that I (In her eyes) left a good thing.... Many of my friends know the situation, and even some of my family... but now with my Aunt & Uncle I am constantly reminded of what I let get away, and it was all my fault! I have learned through the years that blood is not thicker than water... when the water is our friends and the ones that are trully close to us.... I am in a sad moment today because it was reminded to me yet again. I love my friends, and will never take them for granted on how much they give to me, how much they understand me, and how much they see the truth in who I really am.... My family doesn't, and it is sad, but it is real in my life.... My family is my friends... and I love each and everyone of you so much!!!.

I totally understand what you mean Lizard! ... I have friends that have been like that also, and for many, many years... I don't expect a change, but it is nice to know what comes around goes around...I have always been there for my friend, and she; I'm sorry to say... has never been there for me. I have always been a give give give... and she has always been a take take take. But I knew this almost from the begining, and continue to be her friend because we have such a history. I am choosing to be her friend... and if I have complaints, it is my fautlt. The only thing you can say when they ask to come around after they haven't talked to you otherwise is "I'm sorry, but it can't happen this time" ... It is up to you.
