Exodus: Dems Trigger Statehouse Shutdown Not a repeat from last week in Wisconsin. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

True. My buddy's jeep was totaled in a hit and run by a black towncar type limo with some assramistan shithole's flag on the fenders. That's right: totaled a jeep. I was just glad he wasn't in it at the time. He was pissed because the insurance company couldn't go after the driver or owner, so they raised his rates. Of course, if they double park and block you in against the curb, there isn't shot you can legally do. But when NYPD says "sideswipe the fucker on your way out, I'm sick of their shit," be happy you have a well mounted brushguard. The Pakis are just pissed because their ISI guys screwed the pooch (probably trying to snatch the guy or protect something from American eyes), and they need to out on a tough guy show for their Neanderthal constituents riding the way back machine. Hating America is popular in hell holes the world over. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

So I bring up that a particular government agency constantly overreaches its bounds, that there is another agency that can handle its mission, and you dredge up nonsense about private armies. What's next, are you going to start talking about nanothermite? I'd think with all your blithering about jack booted thugs, you'd support reinin in one of the biggest offenders. Or do they not bother you because it's not one of your favorite rights? witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Come on Jeanne, be reasonable. While cowards hypocrites and draft dodgers come in all shapes, sizes, and political parties, there aren't too many republicans who will shout down wounded vets or badmouth the military. They may neglect, mistreat, and misuse them, but they're not likely to protest ROTC on campuses. Just because you hate them, that didn't mean they are responsible for all the evils in the world. Not even half. If you saw a protest against Obama, socialism, and gun control, would you think the group is made up of democrats? If you saw people shouting down big corporations, pollution, and greed, would you expect them to be registered republicans? The only set of blinders I see in this thread so far is your hate. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Facepalm indeed. They started out as a tax agency. There really is no reason for the BATFERBF to exist. Let the FBI handle the law enforcement side, and let the treasury handle the tax side. Or the Secret Service. They are the inspiration for the phrase "mission creep." If they could they would stick their fingers into everything. Congress has had to rein them in over and over again. I'm just glad some congresscritters still have the steel to keep ATF on a short leash. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Oh I completely agree that he sounds like snakily little defense liar. But, as inonxe heard abjudge quip after too many gin and tonics, "Just because he's a greasy little amoral jerk of a defense liar, that doesn't mean he's wrong." Yes, the Feds look like jackasses, and the Pakis are acting like opportunistic douche bags, but that doesn't answer the question of whether or not he had DI. I don't know the Vienna Conventions that well. If a person is sent into a country under the umbrella of DI, does the foreign country get to claim it doesn't apply? (short of a home country waiving DI) witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

(sorry about the incomplete post, I'm on my phone) From the first link in my previous post: We all know lawyers can take any simple sentence and argue that it means three distinct and opposing ideas. That not what interests me. The whole point is he went in with DI. He was announced to the Pakis. He expected DI. The Pakis knew who he was and could keep tabs on him. That's why black hat no-cover spooks don't go in as part of the embassy staff. Taking those protections makes them easier to track. If the US sends him in and tells the Pakis they expect DI, and the Pakis don't reject him, how do they get to up and decide that nah, they're not going to give it to him based on what he did. The entire concept of DI is to prevent that. He came in with DI. You dint like it, tag him persona non grata and expel him. The Pakis are as wrong as the US here. The US just looks bad for trying to hide that he was working with, for, or as a spook. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Yeah, the guy appears to be former special forces, now working for or contracted to the CIA. OK, let's assume he is. If he went in with diplomatic immunity, shouldn't he still have it, regardless? Once the US notified the Pakistani government, do they really get to decide after he fact that no, they really don't want to offer him DI? And with hints that they knew he as working with CIA assets in the area, it sounds like he got close to something the ISI wasn't interested in having uncovered. Complicit much? Playing both sides against the middle? Just found an article that the US is taking that stance, at least. http://m.timesofindia.com/world/us/CIA-or-not-Davis-still-has-immunity-says-US/articleshow/7552383.cms I swear I am so sick of hearing about problems like this in shithole countries. Does the US gain anything from throwing money material and loves into supporting corrupt little despots? It's not like the Pakis are supporting the military efforts against "terrorists." they don't want drones flying, they don't want military forces to chase enemies across twit frontier, and they won't handle it themselves. If you look at what's coming out, the CIA had to set up parallel efforts to track militants because the ISIcouldnt or wouldn't donut themselves, and the CIA couldn't trust them to even know about it. Another article, this one from NPR and containing the view of a local that doesn't support the US. (I'll stop short of "anti-American) http://m.npr.org/story/133962907?url=/2011/02/22/133962907/americans-cia-ties-imperil-pakistan-cooperation witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Libyan pilots defect rather than bomb protesters

It's Zuckerberg. I was waiting for someone to pop in and explain how it's all the Bilderberg Group, or the Koch brothers running everything behind the scenes. Bonus for using alternut or other black-chopper sites. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1* -
Mixed up bonfire with the corner, did you? Or were youaiming for the women's forum? I thought you were posting a personal ad when I first read the title. And fair warning, the answer to all those questions, when answered by a single guy, is "me." Has she tried a Klingon, or one of the ones with "rabbit ears" or a motorized "tongue" on top? disclaimer: no I've never actually been in the same room as these things, but I take taking care of my woman seriously, and want to know "what women want." witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

same with you mate... (do you have anything to say on topic - i thought not) Well, once again, you thought wrong. I simply don't see much point in repeating myself. Do try to keep up. If you read the thread from the first time she posted this nonsense, I said everything that needed to be said. If you're too lazy to click a link, that's not my problem. but you just can't stop yourself... So the troll complains that I had nothing to say on topic. I corrected the troll in that I said what needed to be said the first time the article was posted. The troll then cuts the text that told him where my original comments were and complains that I repeated myself. Troll, STFD and STFU. I'm done with you unless you actually have something to say on topic. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1* -
an entry level article for those interested in the basics I have seen gas systems take a shit. Full on take it to a gunsmith or can it type stoppages. Same with cheap drop-in piston systems. I'd never want to trust my life to an aftermarket change like that. But like you said, we're more likely to face malfunctions due to bad mags or dirty guts of the gun. However, if I could get a piston driven gun from a top maker, I wouldn't hesitate. The thing I like about the new guns is that they are going away from the AR style rear charging handle in favor of a ambi charging handle above/in front of the mag well. I never liked that slingshot pinch and pull POS. Enough training and you can make it work, as seen over the last three or four decades, but I prefer to succeed in part because of my gun, not in spite of it. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

What the fuck happened to you? witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Yeah, same here, but I didn't even get to run the whole mag. Afterwards I kinda shrugged and thought "well I wouldn't say no if they were giving them away..." I am a believer in using a piston rather than direct gas. It's just so clean. But we can get that in stock AR type guns, and I watched an armorer install an aftermarket piston system in an old M16 knock off (no rails or fancy doodads, just semiauto M16A2). As for your bet, I wouldn't take that no matter what odds you offered. When I first read that, I thought you said "What do you want to bet that 'ol LouDiamond got to put a few down using one of them?" Either way, no dice, my friend. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Wisconsin democrats leave state to avoid union vote

This page is in an undisclosed location. So secret, we don't know where it is either. You’ve followed a link to a page that doesn’t exist. Please use the navigation or search box above or try starting over from our main page. I don't know what you were trying to link, but this suggests there's a lot of lying going on from all sides. Even on here John. Funny how you jump on anyone who posts BS except when it comes from you. are you gonna own up and say your posts were a bit premature? I don't know if lawrocket posted BS or not, since his link doesn't exist. I guess you didn't try clicking on it. It's the same link another poster put up. Somehow his link carried the ellipsis over instead of the url. Ah, here it is. http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin/statements/2011/feb/18/rachel-maddow/rachel-maddow-says-wisconsin-track-have-budget-sur/ http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin/statements/2011/feb/18/rachel-maddow/rachel-maddow-says-wisconsin-track-have-budget-sur/ So now you can answer the content of lawrocket's post, instead of bashing a busted link. Or not. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1* -

Do you really not see how bitter and angry you've become? (on the boards, at least) You're starting to sound (read?) more like rhys and dreamdancer everyday. Whacked out conspiracaies, inability to disagree without throwing out your two worst labels at everyone with another viewpoint, refusal to ask or answer honest questions... It makes me worry about what happened to the jumper I knew. I hope you're still you out there in the real world and you just get nuts on dz.com. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1* -
Yeah, I liked the Ruger, too. And it's only one stamp. I bet you can't hear the report over the sound of the action cycling. As for the blackout, no we really don't need it, and I'm not really interested in it. It's a nifty idea for anyone with a quality reloading setup, but I wouldn't shell out for the factory stuff. It caught my eye with the "full power" lighter bullet and the quiet heavier bullet, but unless you REALLY want a .30 cal suppressed rifle that handles like an AR15 it's not anything you can't do better with another round. What I want is a .308 with two uppers: one SBR for close-in work and one longer barrel for reaching out and ruining something's day. You have any experience with the new SCAR ACR or XCR new guns? or the LMT rifle they're sending to the UK for the brit version of SDMs? witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Wow, we can finally agree on something. I don't like carpet either. I greartly prefer a solid floor with rugs. It would be nice if more reporters took the Joe Friday approach (just the facts, ma'am). But I don't doubt that the senator remains convinced he did nothing wrong. Well, maybe he thinks getting caught and looking like a hypocritical douche bag were wrong, but nothing to do with his flying. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

Only in your wttle witle mind..... You really are DESPARATE to not discuss the way these private armies are being brought to bear on your fellow Americans. (edit to remove childish nonsense and name-calling) So do tell, how exactly are these private employees being "brought to bear" on Americans? Where are the roving death squads you keep talking about. Where is the violence that the author (you know, your little bug brain who seems to tell you what to think) claimed would come about if we didn't burn the first amendment out of the constitution? Have you got anything new to bring to the table? You avoided answering most questions the first time you posted this drivel. Is this going to be different? Or do you just have some deep seated Freudian need to talk about politicians' sexual habits while playing the part of pot calling the tea kettle black? And just to make it fun, you could settle on a single spelling of "wittle" or look up "desperate" in the dictionary. Or are you intentionally trying to post like a six year old, grammar and all to go without your views? witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1* -
