I seem to remember Gore trying to have a whole ton of overseas military ballot thrown out. If I remember correctly, military votes tend to be republican, don't they? Well, when I finished AFF a few years ago, there was no such thing as a coaches rating, and no card to fill out. You just got things signed off in the log book and the S&TA checked it when you said you were done. I didn't do a single "coached" jump until after I had my A. (1) I couldn't afford it after AFF and (2) renting gear was still damned expensive. Now I get coaching/training when I can from visiting hot shots, and I happily trade beer for a well coached jump from regulars, but it's not the same as what a preA newbie needs. When one of my best buds moved to NYC, he gave up paying for anything computer related. He got all the best hardware as "throw aways" from work, all the software you really need is free one place or another, and WiFi is everywhere in that city. Plus now I think they're going to hook him up with the cost of using his mobile as a modem when there's no WiFi signal. God that guy is spoiled. ps - I have no idea what the answer to your question is. sorry. Seems to me this is freeflying. Most people just head up or head down and call it freeflying, but wasn't the idea to use all surfaces at all angles? This is taking 'standard' freeflying and doing it in a flocking type angle. Sounds like a tons of fun to me, but still over my head. Someday.

Another ninety that helps, is making that angle with knee-crotch-knee. Keeps your upper legs in a good spot. Remember, real sit fly has little to do with your arms. Interesting that they say the clause fails to be conspicuous when next to the required signature is a line in all caps that says "I have read this release etc etc etc." If he couldn't read it, why did he sign it? Sorry, you lose. Like everybody's told you, they're students until they have an A, unless you're talking about operating completely outside USPA boundaries. How often do you get scared skydiving?

The only time I get scared about skydiving is if I know someone on the plane is a threat to everyone else on it. But if they're not there, or I don't know them, I'm not scared. I downsized to a little less than 1.4 on jump 40 or so. But then I'm over 200lbs, so it's not that radical. I took to canopy control pretty well (better than most?) and did some post student demo-ing, and when I came time to finish my rig and get a main, I went with a 169 Safire. [zp semi eliptical by Icarus, as if anyone doesn't alredy know that.] The only problem I've had under canopy is the bad decision that put me there on a windy day when the entire first three loads all landed off. witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1* -
As I said, whether I sue depends on whether it's skydiving related or whether is somebody intentionally doing me harm on the DZ.
