Hi Ken, IMO your references to 'nanny states' is a low blow. One could just as easily use the term for the USA because USPA actually does have BSR's. People in other countries see things differently than how the people in the USA see things. They are not wrong, they are different. I mean, who eats with a fork in their left hand? Jerry Baumchen

Hi Big, You are correct. A few yrs ago, I was reading about an increase in parking lot accidents between pedestrians & EV cars. The walkers simply did not hear the EV as it was backing out of a parking space. More things to adjust to; c'est la vie. Jerry Baumchen

Hi jakee, I do not know about you, but the only bridges that I have ever seen are 'civilian.' Except for some in the various war movies I've seen. Here, near where I live, in Portland, OR, we have 10 bridges over the Willamette River. All are civilian, not a military bridge in the bunch. Unbelievable. Jerry Baumchen

Hi folks, What else should one expect from a GOP Senator from Alabama: his remarks were racist. Alabama Sen. Tuberville equates descendants of enslaved people to criminals : NPR IMO the modern GOP is very hard-pressed to find people of intelligence to run for office. Tuberville is a perfect example. And, people wonder why I will not vote for any Republican at any level. Jerry Baumchen PS) I am all for incarcerating anyone convicted of a felony crime.

Hi Jim, 'Back in the day,' at different times, I owned two Sentinels. One was built into an altimeter & the other, later version, had just an On/Off switch. Back then a few other guys had Sentinels also. Every one of them was set at the factory to fire at 1,000 ft AGL when zeroed out. Now, that is not to say that, upon request, Snyder might set one at a higher firing altitude. Jerry Baumchen
