    Hi Joe, The combatants in WW I were little more than cannon fodder.* The generals would just ask for 50,000 more, or more, whenever they wanted. In WW II, the US was determined not to wage the same type of warfare. Our mfg capabilities allowed us to carpet bomb our targets. I once read that only about 5% of the bombs dropped in WW II, actually hit their targets.     Hi Ken, That old saying is probably older than I am. It is not true. I had some great instructors that could have made more money if they had left the teaching profession. I also had a few [ damn few ], who IMO could not. The greatest instructor that I ever had left the profession for a number of years to go into land development. Once, he made his 'fortune,' he returned to the classroom. Jerry Baumchen

    Hi Ken, That is one way. I argue that the best way is to eliminate all political parties. For every office at every level, a person would run on what they stand for & who they are. I would settle for ranked choice voting since my argument is merely 'pie in the sky.' Jerry Baumchen

    Hi Robert, This is an area I do not know much about. I seem to remember, that once elected, he/her must be seated. And, no recall election until after 6 months in office.
