Hi John, There has been a fair amount of posting on here about how Putin is controlling Trump and hoping that the US will become a lesser power; all to the advantage to Russia. I think that should the US become less powerful, Russia would regret it as China would become the most dominant nation; and to Russia's detriment. Jerry Baumchen

Hi Phil, For a number of years now, I have felt that an overall ( everybody, no exceptions ) tax increase of 1/2 % and dedicated ONLY to the national debt would help us out of this mess. Do it for 10-15 yrs and we would look a lot better financially. IMO a 1/2 % increase would barely be noticed. I am not an economist and I could be completely wrong in my thinking. Jerry Baumchen
