Now you know damn well what the differences between Clinton and Trump are so please don't play it that way. I don't know who, why or what was behind the Nashville bombing. It could have been some poor bastard that went low on a 100-Way and just couldn't live with it if we're guessing. But in this environment it's no surprise many suspect that President Insurrection was the inspiration as he is to others who are raising hell and causing grief. And all because because Trump is a moron, a liar and a poor loser. And that is why I wonder if you've started feeling regrets. After all, if only 3 or 4 million like you would have voted for the nation instead of your personal wealth the spread would have been too great for any of the bullshit he's been heaping on the nation since election day.

I don't see religion behind it, at least not overtly. They seemed too concerned with human life to be followers of any of the currently popular deities.

You just don't understand how it works out in the real world of home protection. Those who are truly concerned for their safety don't drink or go to sleep in feather beds. Nope. If you are serious, you go to sleep sober, in the prone position, with your AR resting on a sand bag and your wife lying next to you with a night vision spotting scope. There is no way you'd accidentally shoot your kids or concerned neighbors even if they did get past the claymores.

Earl, did you know that your great grandaddy Tommy Tuberville was who what stood up to Democracy and tried to save the nation? That's a fact. If full auto isn't legal across the counter, and it should never be, then any clever work around should also be illegal and subject to severe penalties. Just because it's fun and has yet to cause a problem somewhere else are not good reasons.

I must say that 400 bucks for a rifle is actually cheap. If you are serving SWAT you might be used to them but on the job you'll have a full auto M-16. At home all you need is a shotgun or similar. So, like bump stocks I think those sorts of things should be a no go. I don't know, maybe kept securely on a qualified range or something for novelty but otherwise where is the need?
