Bah...several years ago all the parts for my new PC arrived (Pentium-II 300, which was hella fast back then) while I was away at work. By the time I got home, my late fiance had already assembled the entire thing, loaded the OS, and had even done some overclocking on it. Geek girls kick ass!

Dammit, Monkey! If I'd known one day earlier I could have been there! I just bought my flight to Tampa this morning, arriving Sun (31st) morning. Sigh... All the best to you and Katie, this Monkey is lovin' you both for a second time. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Exactly. everyone knows we are hot-shit freefliers. Kris may enjoy that too much. Hey now...as long as it's another girl filling out the load, I'll do 4-way with ya' If it's Ron though, I'm bringing my body-condom. Unfortunatly, I don't own a suit with gripper-thingies, so you two are just going to have to throw on some lead and try to keep up with me on my belly! Nice....hope you ScotchGuard'ed it before you had it packed. *I will never put white on my rig AGAIN!* Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Don't worry, if my rig is coming so is my GTi and my freefly suit. Hopefully I can get away early on Friday and get some jumps in then as well... Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Maybe...I dunno, I dislike OSU a lot, too... But I'll never forget that 77-0 shellacking that OU laid on TAMU. I was expecting to see triple-digits on that one. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Bingo! We have a winner! The story of the SkyMonkey numbers is posted here on DZ.com somewhere...it's a fun read and explains why only Mono Uno and Mono Dos have numbers.

Dude....you just aren't getting it. You need to sit down with a *good* rigger and get a refresher as to how a proper reserve cable is created, tested, installed, and used. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

You are correct, Bigway was not. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Video game piracy: helping the companies that produce them?
Kris replied to skyhighkiy's topic in The Bonfire
Yup...I've downloaded games to try and if I like them, I buy them. In the last year I've bought the latest UT, Doom3, Sims2, FS 2004, X-Plane, GTA-Vice City, and Need For Speed: Underground. All because I tryed before I bought. If I downloaded something and didn't like it, it got deleted off of my drive after one or two plays. It doesn't cost, but it counts against your text message allotment. It'll cost you two messages (one outgoing, one incoming). I have the extra 500 SMS messages a month on my phone though....I think it only runs about $3.99 a month. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I've used it several times over the last couple of weeks. I'm on T-mobile and it sure saves a lot of time. I can either fire up Internet Explorer on my phone and find something, which takes time for the pages to load, etc... Or I can fire off a quick SMS to 46645 (GOOGL) and have the answer back in about 5-10 seconds. I love it. Do it! Do it!!! Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I don't snore....bitchass. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Well, I'm always up for a good boogie, I hear Chuckie may be there... And, no, I owe you some blueberrry wine, your bitchass still owes ME mead. I think we left the transvestites in AR...thank goodness for that. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

What in the hell is a hog-flop? It would be mucho coolio to see you and Galen again. If I can make it to Arkansas of all places, to visit you, you can make it to your own damn DZ, you boozehag. And bring me mead, dammit. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Well....damn. There goes all my precious street-cred. Sigh... Thanks for all the tips, Arlo...not sure about the tunnel, but we'll see.

Hey! Don't you go telling my fiance to have sex with people....well, not on the first date anyways. Don't worry, my sweet fiance, I'll make them buy me lobster first. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I'll bring extra hugs, hon...we'll have to go out and have our traditional Surf-n-Turf. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

I've got a week-long business trip to Tampa coming up and I'll have all Saturday, November 6th, to play at Z-hills. Who's going to offer to show me around? *kicking HeatherB and Stacy awake* Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Well put, Ed. I'm pretty much the same way about helmets....to each their own. But, I had a really hard opening last year that shredded one of the cells of my Stiletto, popped a couple of lines, and wrenched my knee and hip. But the fun didn't stop there....I whipped up into those violently-deploying risers with such force that it burned and lacerated my face in spots, and melted a gouge in the frame and left lens of the Oakley sunglasses I was wearing. There were some decent scrapes on the side of my Bonehead as well. I have no doubt that had I not had it on we would have been looking for my ear along with my main & freebag. I'm pretty religious about wearing my helmet now, but still leave it off (although rarely) for the occasional hop & pop. Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

This was discussed in another thread. Looks more like someone who just wants to get rid of that worthless certificate.... Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

That's exactly how I do it with my Stiletto, Andrea. Also, at the end of the canopy, I pull the bottom fabric up a bit to make a small pocket, stuff the fluff at the end into it, then roll it up. It's much easier for me to control it that way.

Yup, and if you're really worried about it, tack a small loop to the top of the collar of your jumpsuit. Then connect the goggle strap to it with a long rubber-band or something else that will hold on against the wind, but will still break if it needs to...
