For me, it helped to just program myself to keep my chin up. If you are exiting presented into the wind, try to keep your eyes on the plane. If you are doing a diving exit, look at the horizon. In freefall, keep looking at the horizon (still check the altimeter of course ) Somebody once told me that your body follows your eyes. After that, it just clicked.

Airchway Skydiving Sued

In the spacecraft world, if we're closing out a compartment or piece of equipment for flight that will not be seen again either until it's back on the ground or ever, we take close-out photographs. These document the configuration of the equipment at the time the compartment was buttoned up for flight. The solution here could be a simple as requiring a closeout photo. -

Ooo Ooo, I'm on the verge of new employment right now too. Mmmm, I can almost taste the sweet sweet air of Florida now.... Anyway, HR made me an offer and then went on vacation for the holidays so I wont know anything more until after New Years. Grrrrr....

I'm helping to design a fighter plane to be used by the USAF/ USN/ and USMC... does that count? -
Scary! Another step to destroy your freedom! (not a gun thread)

If you dont register the printer, and you paid for it with cash, then I dont see how anything could really be traced back to you. -
Formerly of ERAU Skydiving Club in Daytona . Ah... the good 'ol days. Perhaps I will have the opportunity again when i return for grad school. Glad to see the club is still going strong.

Still though.. it's "Until death do us part", not "until the sex/ intamacy declines". I'm all for divorces when one partner is being violent/ abusive/ life destroying to the other or endangering the welfare of a child, but I really hate how marriage no longer really means, "I am with you and will always be with you."

Ok, I'm a 23 year old bachelor, so I probably dont count as far as having any valid advice on this subject... but the only problem that you seemed to identify was failing to initiate sex/ intimate relationship. Now, intimate relationship could be considered many things, but I definately wouldnt think that you should leave yer spouse just because of lack of sex/ physical intimacy (if that is all you mean by intimacy, which it might not be). I mean, if he is a total a-hole that treats you like crap... that's one thing and I'd suggest you get out now, but a lack of physical intimacy is entirely another situation. But like I said, I am no more qualified to speak on this than I am to design a nuclear power plant, but I have strong opinions on divorce, and I just had to let my opinion loose.

Anywhere but Texas!! Get me outta here!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Brother issues aside, I'm even against RFID used for automated check-out at grocery stores. An automated check out machine just means one less available job for a real person. Sure it's a low paying job that not many people want to do, but it's still a job.

I'm suppose to be flying into Orlando on Friday night to see my girl. I hope I dont have to delay my trip until next week!

If you live in C Florida, just dont let them stick ya in Endeavour Elementary. My g/f substituted there and she said the kiddies were little hellions.

If North Korea Invades South Korea: Let them defend their own damn country. Our guys dont need to be there. If China moves into Hong Kong, it sucks for trade, but it is their land. Our guys don't need to be there. If former USSR countries realinged they would just be a litte version, yet just as poor version, of the former USSR. Our guys dont need to be there... unless they start stuff with us directly, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I think they both have many issues, so I've decided to vote based on special interest. Too bad we only have two choices (Nader only counts a vote towards Bush).

I agree, out law divorce. The whole point of marriage is that I think she rocks, I marry her, and she cant get away now

I couldnt agree more with that statement. In fact, my supervisors told me that that was one of the main reasons that they decided to hire me. Yes putting yourself through college can be stressful, but I feel like I got so much more out of the experience because of it. It forced me to learn those important lessons of life that they dont teach you in the classroom. It also made me respect my education more. I saw way too many people on full parental rides either drop out or get kicked out. Once I started that first semester, there was no turning back for me. Ah...good times... good times...

Went to college. Paid for it myself by working, and getting student loans. Have an awesome job with my all time favorite aerospace giant. Paying off student loans isnt nearly as bad as I though. Cant' wait to go to grad school!

Anybody know what is up with the Skydive Texas website? If you go there, you just get this wierd animated dog that tries to catch your mouse pointer. Are they out of business or something? I live in Fort Worth and havent jumped since I left Florida last August. It's time to get back up the air. I plan on checking out Eagleflight in Granbury, TX, but I guess Skydive Texas is (was?) pretty close too.

V348. Starting to think it's too small. RWS replied and said that it could take an F-111 PD-190 and even a PD-210 (though tight). This is great. However, he said the the container will hold a PD-160R (already installed) or a Raven I sized reserve. I think 160 is a bit small for me considering I dont want a main smaller than 190. Dont know much about the "Raven I sized reserve". I've only been able to find info on the newer Ravens. I asked for clarification on this.

8.5 Months and counting... Damn it, why couldnt LM offer me a job in Florida! Oh well, I finally have a rig and a job (granted, no main canopy yet). And a rig and a good salary after 4 years of living off of student loans can only mean one thing. (Besides 15 years of paying off student loan bills) I'm coming back and I'll be back for good baby!

Thanks everybody, I fired an email off to RWS. Great advice about getting that faxed, I'll have to send them another email! :)

I have recently acquired a second hand Vector 3. Lastnight, went to the RWS website and downloaded the Vector # owner's manual. Of course since the Vector 3M is the most recent container that the RWS produces, the owner's manual always referenced the 3M rather than the orginal 3. My primary objective in looking at the owner's manual was to check out the canopy sizing chart in the last appendix. My question is, are the canopy pack volume limiations different between the Vector 3 (DOM '96) and the Vector 3M??
