thank you so much! that totally helped. i understand everything way better now. but one thing. when you say you grab the pilot chute and throw it into the airstream, do you mean you grab the ACTUAL pilot? or do you grab and throw something that pulls the pin? thanks again. blue skies

ok, i know this is really silly, but im about to start my first AFP and i was wondering what the difference is between ripcord and throw out, or if there even is one. ive been studying rigs and such so i go into the course with at least some knowledge. ive been reading about ripcord, pull out, throwout...is there an easy way to decifer the difference? also, is there ripcord on a javelin rig? thanks guys, and blue skies!
