I meant to write ring sight, not cam-eye.. DOH.. I was told a ring site is important for stills.

I've been told some different things. Do you recommend a cam-eye for a new still photographer? I don't have one now, but planned on using a dot if I need one. So, mount one now, or wait and see if I need it? I'm only going to be shooting FreeFly pics if that helps...

I got the tail end of it.. I turn on the TV and see some nice skydiving, then a guy who hit.. What happened? Did he go "big" for the cameras or something?

I have 0 experience with building a site, but I do have my own space (nothing done with it). I need to help my pops build a simple site but I don't know what program I can get that is simple enough for a beginner but isn't crap. Any help would be sweet.. USENET ?

I have a digital Rebel. I bought it body only, and then bought two lenses off of a skydiving friend (the two stated above 15mm and 8mm). I'm not looking for a new lense to shoot skydiving photos just one that I can use for road trips. I don't want a wide angle and I don't want super telephoto. Just something in between.

I'm new at this so I don't know what you mean by that. I have a Rebel if that helps any.

I have a 15mm and an 8mm sigma in my very small collection of lenses, but I need something better for everyday shooting. I don't need super wide angle and I don't need super telephoto. Is there something in the middle? My price range stops at around 500. All help is appreciated!

Well, one option DZ.com spell check gives us for freeflyer or freeflier is "frivolous". I guess the answer to its spelling has been right in front of all of us

Thanks to all those who provided their time to shoot video of our league jumps. Thanks to SDH for hosting it, and thanks to those who spent their time getting it organized.. It was a great learning experience and hopefully not my last competition. Thx robert Thx to my kick ass team mate too (Bill)
