Let me say thank you to everyone at Thomaston for being so fabulous, kind and one hellluva party crew! Thanks to Trey and Jen and well...EVERYONE! I can't go on the list would be too long..someone tell Joe that he rocks and since I met him I won't have to escape from any of those "conversations" because he is just too damn good at it. What a fantastic weekend and for a spur of the moment, unplanned, trip it turned out to be one of the best times we have had! I met some really awesome people and the vibes were kicking so hard they almost knocked me over, several times. Katie and I hope that some of you will come join us now and let us return all the good times and laughter. You will surely see us again in Thomaston very, very soon. Thank you for everything!! Right on DANO!!! WHAT A fan-freakin-TABULOUS WEEKEND AT THOMASTON!! I wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to all the KIND and kick ass people I had the total PLEASURE of meeting and hanging out with. I would like to return the awesome vibes this coming weekend to each of you and to any other jumpers. Come on out and make some memorable skydives with us and then stay for the party. No humping dammit, but 6 kick ass skydives and what was the other number for??? I suck at this game.....yeah I had my first one toggle landing had to use risers and solo toggle to land..all on my first time jumping a new canopy. I was so pissed off at the joker who packed that crap! Im over it now though. It was a great learning experience and I managed to keep my mind and get myself back to the ground safely. WHEW!!! ***You see, the way Kris surfs across the ground there is no impact to his feet. Therefore chucks are great. I am like you, i need the padding for the impact. Well I didn't want to say for when I surf because half the time it was not on purpose and it was all about luck that I pulled off a nice surf/slide across the grass. So when I come in and impact the Chucks were..let's just say it wasn't pleasant. BUT on the other hand since I will be a swooping, surfing mad woman by summers end, hahahahaha, I might be able to wear my cute little Chucks again. *** DC Shoes are the bomb too! You want something that is slick on the bottom to surf across the grass but you also want some padding and protection around the foot. Vans, Globe, and DC Shoes are by far my favorite. I bought this really killer pair of newly released Chuck Low tops the other day. Jumped in them and was reminded quickly why padding is good. Then this is by far the best, really happened to me....after long hours of indulging myself with liquor and partying like the best of em..this guy totally schmoozed me over with his charm.
