Hey Tonto, So you have only put one jump on it?........If that is the case, get 10-15 jumps on it and let's see if that is the issue. Personally it sounds like from one pack job that was obviously rolled as you mentioned in your previous post. If you are using a packer, then get the same packer to work with you and work on improving the openings over a period of 10-15 jumps and if it is still a problem, please contact me personally and I'll make sure you get taken care of. Best regards Edward Anderson Chief Of Operations Aerodyne Research

Hi Addie, Seeing your post this morning made me do what any good company should do and check into it. :-) You will be pleased to note, that your pilot and smart are already here and we are just waiting on your icon due to arrive from our manufacturing facility on Thursday. When it arrives we will box it right up and ship it out to Square2 so that you have it for this coming weekend. For the records, it isn't actually 13 weeks since it was placed in our system, however that doesn't mean it wasn't 13 weeks since you ordered it. Sometimes the distributor needs to do some paperwork on their side that takes process time too. I apologize for the delay, April was a mad month for us with the South African elections and numerous public holidays to celebrate their 10 year celebrations of their new found independence. In order to make up for that, we are increasing our work hours (overtime) to accommodate the more than expected orders that we have received. For those asking. We are currently at 10 weeks for custom ICON's and Mains and are working hard at reducing that. We honestly had no idea, that our orders would be so high in our first year of putting the ICON on the market, and this is being addressed as we speak. Please check this site or our web site www.aerodyne-int.com for an update as to when delivery times will be back to 8 weeks I would also like to take this opportunity for all those customers who have placed orders with Aerodyne, to thank you for your custom and support. I sincerely hope that your new equipment will be with you soon and that it is everything, if not more than you expect it to be. Sincerely Edward Anderson Chief of Operations Aerodyne Research.

Howzit Tonto, Chom, sounds like something is totally wrong with that picture. I personally have wing suit jumps on a pilot and don't have experience of that nature. I also noticed you are jumping on the reef, (probably 4000+ ft above sea level) Are you absolutely certain it was a thousand feet? Did you measure this by an altimeter, pro-track etc? Are you sure where ever your pro-track is that it isn't caught in a low pressure (burble) and that the reading is correct. A good way to really check is to film your opening or have someone do it for you, and then time the duration of the opening. Lastly boet, Please check with our sales rep in South Africa Dave MacRae in regards to assisting you further. It could be, and I'd hate to point fingers just be as simple as you being used to packing a specific way to slow an opening down on your previous canopy and not needing to do so on this canopy. We currently have no reports of this canopy opening too slowly, as a matter of fact it is why it is our largest selling main canopy, is due to it's pleasant openings. Please get back with me personally if Dave is unable to help you. Customer service is high on Aerodyne's priority list and we want to make sure your queries are addressed. Best regards and blue skies Edward Anderson Chief of Operations Aerodyne Research

Congratulations on your new rig, hope it is one of the 8 or so complete systems we shipped out this week. If there is anything that doesn't meet your expectation, please feel free to email us directly, and we will be sure to take good care of you. We are excited too, as the first complete systems start rolling out the door, however we are also just as keen to see what we can do to improve on them. So far we have had incredibly positive feedback and support from people who have already received their new rigs & I hope you are equally as pleased. Have a great skydiving weekend and thank you once again for your custom blue skies Edward Anderson Chief Of Operations Aerodyne Research Tampa, FL, USA Tel +1 813 891 6300 Fax +1 813 891 6315 www.aerodyne-int.com

Hi John, Our contact information is as follows: Aerodyne Research 12649 Race Track Road Tampa FL, 33626 (813) 891-6300 As for the comments regarding the website, they are well taken, and we will work at trying to pose an option at the entry page to offer you a simple html site, that doesn't have all the glitz and flash incorporated. However a simple email to your systems administrator will often solve that issue. Right now we are experiencing a few such complaints and we are working at resolving them. Thank you for the input best regards Edward Anderson Chief Of Operations Aerodyne Research

This just in from the marketing dept. :-) I did actally post why the delay on the draw and it was due the fact that we had to establish that the winner was actually a skydiver with a licence and confirm what we said we would confirm. We didn't want some guy/gal from the local horseriding school entering our competitionfor a set of gear because they stumbled upon our website. Hope you guyz didn't get too impatient for the results. Aerodyne’s Internet Tombola makes a happy US skydiver! Jennifer Panicorp of Covington, Washington (USA) is the happy winner of a free complete Aerodyne parachute system, consisting of an Icon harness-container system, a Smart reserve and a main canopy of her choice. On January 6th Jennifer’s e-mail address was drawn as the winning entry in the tombola which Aerodyne organized on its Internet site over the Christmas period. The tombola was open to all website visitors and only required the submission of an e-mail address. The only rule to comply with was that the winner must show a valid parachuting licence in order to claim the prize. With a modest 50 jumps to her account Jennifer is a relatively newcomer to the sport. She received her USPA A licence in September last year. As one would expect Jennifer was quick to return a happy reply to Aerodyne: “OH MY LORDY THAT IS BEYOND COOL!!!! Thank you so much!!!! … I just can't believe this, I'm so excited!! “. Aerodyne would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Jennifer and to thank all those that entered the web draw. We did offer a complete system at the DZ.com boogie in AZ. However this was a web only draw for those that couldn't make the boogie. Edward Anderson Chief Operating Officer Aerodyne Research
