hey, Seb ust called me and said that he won't be at the seascape tonite. since no on else has said anything, sarema and i won't be there, either. we'll just go straight to the DZ tonite. see you there. rob and sarema Q: "Do you think it gets boring just flying around or is there more to it?" Alright, Sarema and I will be at the seascape tonite (friday) from around 7pm until 9 or 10. we'll give anyone that shows up a nice, comfy ride in the RV back to hollister. that way you can leave your cars for driving back on saturday. if you talk to us real nice, we might even let you rack out tonite in the the extra bed up front! hope to see a bunch of you there. hey seb, pm me with your phone number, please -rob and sarema Q: "Do you think it gets boring just flying around or is there more to it?" If this comes to pass, Sarema and I might swing by seascape with the RV on the way to the DZ friday evening. That way we could check out the LZ and ferry a bunch of people (like 6 or 7) to Hollister so they can leave their cars at seascape. Seb, let us know if you want to do this. Ah, Seb. the memories. my first two bikes were 450 nighthawks. wrecked 'em both. now I have a Suzuki Katana 750 that I don't ride enough. have fun, wear leathers, and don't wreck. oh, and don't ride with Peter, either. he's a lunatic. in theory, we can comfortably transport about 7 or 8 people, including the driver, but The RV only gets EIGHT MILES TO THE GALLON it is not useful as a transporter. we drive it to the DZ and PARK it. RV won't take all 14 people plus ground crew, sorry. guess we'll all have to take the deathtrap back to the DZ. If we survive the trip back, we can all have magaritas made with the RV's blender, though! Olé! Maybe I'll just jump my birdman suit and fly back from Aptos to Hollister. I'm a little skittish after my balloon jump at Rantoul where they told us 5 minutes before we jumped that we were "on our own for a ride back to the dz." luckily, a bunch of us landed together and a farmer took us back to the DZ. getting stranded away from the DZ with no beer = sucks Q: "Do you think it gets boring just flying around or is there more to it?" well, if you follow the "rule of skydiver thirds" 2/3 of the skydivers who say "count me in" will actually show up 1/3 of the skydivers who say "count me in" will hose you. so, if 20 people say "count me in", only 14 will show and we'll have a full king air... sorry, KerMor, but french licences don't count for demos in America, so you're out of luck!! :-) only american D licenses like Sarema and I have. (j/k -- in reality i have no idea if this is true... Peter? is it?) Seriously, though, Renaud, make a count and see where we stand. somebody's gotta make the call and you're the appointed organizer!! However, if you don't pick Sarema and I to go on the jump, this here kitten will die!
