Given that I am relatively new to this sport I have only been to a small handful of DZ’s. The experience here though is unbeatable. In a world where Tandems are always a priority, the fun jumpers wind up feeling neglected. At the only other DZ in Utah available for A-C licenses we often drive for hours to sit and wait for an opportunity that never comes, or to be turned away at the door because they have shut down for the day. The staff at Wasatch goes out of their way to squeeze us in every chance they get. Many of them, including Leon “the DZO” will hop on a load just to fill the plane and get us in the air. If you’re coming to Utah and you want to jump, this is the place to do it! Chances are good that I’ll see you there!
PS the Mountain view’s are spectacular! The tallest peak in the Wasatch range is in full view as we climb to altitude!
