Found this in a mail from back in Feb; it explains why the switch that worked fantasically with my EOS300 is not working properly with my new EOS300D, but none of the adverts I have been looking at make the distinction between stereo/mono. Anyone got any suggestions and, even better, any of them for stores in the UK? Cheers, Jules You can tell from the number of contacts on the plug, the stereo has two I think, and the mono only has one. I can't find images of the two different plugs, but when you order a bite switch, just indicate that you need the stereo plug version. If you don't know of any stores in the UK that carry them, contact Conceptus www.conceptusinc.com. They will let you know who's a dealer, or help you out directly. Thanks, Iwan

Jimmy, I think the choice of customers to want to do it again has nothing to do with having bought video or not. (other than they spent the money they had left on the video so there is no money left to do another tandem) There will only be a certain amount of people that like it so much they want to do it again. My dad for example, he absolutely loved it but when I asked him if he wanted to go again, he was like.. no, maybe in a couple years I'll do another one. Like the other people said on here, I think you are better off offering them the video package with jump number 1, there is no better advertising for your dropzone than a good video for the customer, because he or she will show it to all their friends as soon as they get home. I looked around the office, and there is no Randy here.. well, there is one but I dont wanna feel him. Does feeling Miranda do too?
-
Sadly, I had already forgotten my question...so I looked again at my prior post...bwahahaha! It was because you were staring at your legs in your avatar huh? they made you forget about your post and think about... ah well never mind..
-
Don't you mean Shannon and Randy's thread? Yeah sort of... but since she's Randy, it's Shannon's thread does that make sense?.. Ok, I am signing off, this is too confusing.
-
ok.. but we gotta lock the 2 videots that are there for dinner out of the room.. I can just see Steve and Iwan fighting for who gets to shoot "inside" video.. well, I forgot my wide angle lens, so I'll be on the outside.. no fighting necessary. Now stop taking over Shannon's randy thread.. Iwan

Thank you Shannon!

Me too but for now I'm just hoping that those of you out there with sweet love readily available will not take it for granted. PM'ed you my number..

That is strange, I have not had to do that to get good results from the 1280... I have had similar experiance from the ink cartriges. J That's good news, I thought the ink cartridges were going to be a big issue, I guess I should have asked earlier on here. Regarding the ink droplet size on the prints, the 600R has 1.5 picoliter droplets, the 1280 and 2200 has 4 picoliter droplets. I assume the R800 has much finer print than the 1280 and 2200 then? or is this a mis-interpretation of the specs? Iwan

That's an awesome video.. thanks for sharing!! I was wondering if anyone knew the music that's used in the first part of the movie, which artist is that? Iwan
-
I agree that it does the larger formats, but.. and this is a big one, the inktcartridge for that one is muchos expensive I heard. It's one cartridge with 6 colors in it, compared to 7 individual cartridges in the smaller one. So if you run out of 1 color, you just replace that color, with the 1280 you need to replace the whole cartridge even though the other colors might still be half full. Iwan

Beth, Honestly, I would stick to a Sony, they have proven themselves to be very sturdy cameras. A lot of people have tried other ones and they have been disapointed with it. I don't know anything about that particular camera though. Iwan

Yup...that is my contribution. Btw, why is it called "pookiecam"? It is called pookiecam because Deuce used it to take pictures of pookie with it
-
All, I am looking to buy a high quality photo printer and for the longest time I was looking into buying the Epson 2200. I've worked with Deuce's 2200 and I absolutely love it, but now Epson came out with the R800, which looks like a very nice alternative. Any opinions? Iwan

Exactly....I'll hunt you down like a dog on a bone Um.. ok, that means you'll prolly bite me too.. I guess I see you in Perris then he he.. Only 9 more days!! (for me at least)
-
Exactly so! Registration is now open here So do we still register there as well even though we sent you our info.. What are you going to do with that? Come after us if we don't show? See you soon Betsy!
-
I think it means that Betsy doesn't have your info, which I think is your USPA number and license. Iwan

:14:0 Winded out in Byron on Saturday, headed over to Lodi and got 5 jumps in there. A "Classic" Byron day on Sunday, winds at 17-28 but still managed to get 7 jumps in. Skye was praying for the winds to come down all day today, but didn't get to jump.. 17-28 all day.

Of course we want you there for more than just pictures.. you just have to be there.. I'll work on my accuracy so I can swoop the photo-mama!
