  1. My guess would be Virginia, USA. Perhaps somewhere in the DC vicinity.
  2. Just a couple notes about MUG SHOT photos: 1) You can email me your photos to be put in MUG SHOTS. 2) Be sure the pictures are somewhat BIG. I have to crop then down to your face and shoulders and such so I need some room to work. 3) If you have one in there right now, you can email a newer one if you want one there (Dave). Just make sure it follows the 2 rules above. Rule number FOUR: [Brad Pitt voice]"Do NOT talk about Mug Shots!". [/Brad Pitt voice] Send them this way! PS. If you have shots of yourself in your Dropzone.com T-shirts and they follow the above rules, please send them my way as well. Email: lwren@woh.rr.com http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  3. And it is over. I am pretty sure that was the one at the Richmond Boogie. It looked like it when the plane was on the ground. Man, I sure am glad they are all OK. One guy got interviewed for the show and it looked like SGC's Beech. http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  4. The stalling CASA is on TNN coming up now. It is on Real TV.
  5. Thanks Deuce. So, it sounds like when the time comes that I'm ready to start flying with a camera, I should use something that isn't a wide (Diamond) because since I won't be able to stay as close as I want, everything will be tiny. The "less wide-angle" lenses will give me a bit of leeway as far as how close I am. Thanks again guys. Great thread with great info from all.
  6. OK, now that I've been thinking about all of your input on the wide-angle lenses, I looked into some other kinds and am wondering this: what does the number by the lens mean? I see Diamond .3, Kenko .43, and Titanium .45 to name a few. Can someone explain what the numbers mean? Thanks.
  7. Great information here guys. I won't even be using this lens for skydiving for quite awhile. However, I think that when the time comes, I'll probably be doing freeflying more than anything. So, with that in mind, the Diamond would be a good choice, right? Thanks y'all.
  8. I sold cell phones for over year. All I can say is, "Can you hear me now? Good." http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  9. ***We were all set to go and had a verbal committment from the insurance underwriters that we would be covered for the event.quote] A "verbal commitment" from an insurance company? Duh. http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  10. Jeez. You are flaring HIGH!!! Great looking canopy, though.
  11. If anyone else wants a photo in the MUG SHOT GALLERY, please send an email my way with a BIG photo of your face/shoulders. I'll crop it down and stick it on the page. Also, if you have a cool photo with you in your Dropzone.com t-shirt, send that along too. I'll stick it in the appropriate gallery. Email is lwren@woh.rr.com. I'm waiting with PhotoShop 7 open.
  12. 1983 Pontiac Grand Prix...it had a 305 V8, Hooker headers, 4 barrel Holley carb and a racing dashboard (tach, speed, other gauges, etc). It was fast, but getting only 8 mpg really sucked.
  13. Did you try and call Sony for an estimate? http://www.brandonandlaura.com
