  1. I am wondering how many if you guys use any filters with your wide-angle lenses? I hear that UV and polarizing filters are good. What do you all use? CAN you use filters with wide-angle and are they useful? Thanks.
  2. Just to let you know that B&H is offering the .5 Kenko 37mm lens for $25 right now. Pick one up if you need one.
  3. Not a problem. Sometimes that happens out of nowhere. :) http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  4. Hold the "CTRL" key and scroll down on your mouse wheel. Or, click "view" and "text size" and then choose a smaller size. http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  5. Fix it or don't fix it. I don't care what you think about it. Either way, there is a flaw that is extremely easy to exploit and it should be fixed. Nuff said. Oh yeah, because there are a lot of people who would like to make this switch. ---------------- Man, that is pretty sad when you alert people of possible threats to their computer and the only two replies are people that dog on ya. I'm loving this community more and more. http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  6. Yes, I have. They said, "No." http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  7. This is VERY important and is NOT a joke. ------------------------------------------------ OK, here's the deal. Apparently Windows XP ServicePack 1 has been released recently and it fixes a MAJOR FLAW in the Windows Help that allows hackers to create any webpage on the net and if you go there, it can/will delete whatever directory on YOUR computer that they specify. For instance, they can set it up to delete your Windows DIR or your whole C drive. So, if you use XP, download the new SP1 (edit: you can do this simply by running "Windows Update" from your Start Menu or going to the MS website and going to "update windows"). However, if you are using a "questionable" copy of XP, you can download a VERY small program from this site: http://grc.com/xpdite/xpdite.htm that you run, tell it to fix it and you are done. It is as simple as renaming one file on your computer. You can read all kinds of stuff on the above website. If you are more interested in learning more about this MAJOR BUG in Windows XP, watch this movie from TechTV with Leo Laporte. This is important!!! Hope this helps you all. Have a great weekend.

  12. It won't just die if you leave it alone for awhile. You should LOG OUT and then clear your cookies on Windwos and then LOG BACK IN as the new user. If that doesn't work...you should reinstall Windows. http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  13. Have you tried opening it in some sort of video editing program and doing it that way? I believe there is a way of taking certain frames out of there like that. Let me know if you have or not. I'll go from there.
  14. Heh heh heh....you said "giggle" in the title. That made me laugh this morning. Thanks. http://www.brandonandlaura.com
  15. You can mount that right next to your camera that can go up to 12,000 fps (frames per second). That's right, 12,000. Check it out here: http://www.millisecond-cine.com/images.html Just click the images and you view the movies. They are AWESOME!!! http://www.brandonandlaura.com

  21. Thanks for the input Alan. I have never flown a PD, but from what I hear, they have much more "flare power" compared to the Safire. I have not had much trouble with mine, but I do notice that the flare doesn't seem to be all there. I was hoping it was due to something that wasn't correct. Thanks again!!
  22. OK, we are now updated to this point. Let me know if anything looks out of place.
  23. I am not sure how the snow will be, but I highly recommend Winter Park. It is not very far from Denver and is not busy like Vail, Brekenridge or those other resorts. If you need any ideas, let me know. I've been there vacationing probably about 25 times in my life. Let me know!
