I know what you mean about the MT-1XX, I hope I dont have to ever jump one of those again. I currently have a custom made Vector 2 made with tandem specs. As for a main I actually still use the XX canopy, and actually like the way it flys but agree it has hurendous toggle pressure. As far as rigs and mains those arent really the problem, the reserves are the issue. I have done tons of legwork on this subject and unfortunately the only thing available for us 300+ pounder is a tnadem reserve. I have a Strong Mighty Mak 335 as a reserve but unfortunatley they are no longer made. I would recommend Jump Shack if your looking for big boy rigs/canopies, they were most definately helpful in making me a reserve legal for me to jump. The only other option coming tomind would be contact RWS (known big boy helpers) and have them build you something and add the PD360 tandem reserve. "GOT LEAD?"

Ok so I got my A about two weeks ago and went to the DZ to make a jump this afternoon. One more load going up and i'm asking around to jump with someone and be actually "legal" to do it. Well, I end up with no takers and one fella looks at me and says no freaking way I could keep up. So I end up making another freaking solo jump. So you know, I'm not pissed at anyone and definately not the guy i'm talking about (he didn't mean it in a negative way). Sorry thought i'd vent, but damn its depressing making a solo with a license. If anyone cares I plan on being at Elsinore tomorrow *hint *hint "GOT LEAD?"

Post Jump 88: Got my B. I missed three questions about pilots. Good thing I'm not flying the plane. I can't even fly myself well. At least I regularly land on the DZ now....and i didnt even have to wait for my OTHER friends that I was supposed to meet at the dropzone today and try to get in a 3 way even though he was there when he said he was going to be and had to leave work early to do it and rush rush to find I wasn't there even though i know he was counting on having fun but guess he really doesnt matter. I think it all boils down to how qualified you are to answer questions. I know one of my friends who will out fly many of my instructors and he only has 200 jumps..I trust him in the air more than most, but on here (to some people) doesn't know jack shit. I for one actually have 1800 jumps but care not to disclose it. "GOT LEAD?" -
I got to thinking this morning about it. I started asking how and if it was possible for me to start skydiving at 300+ lbs about 8 months ago here on dz.com. Since that time I know of 3 others that have made jumps at or exceeding my weight. Cvfd1399, Me (both regular jumpers) Jumbo, and AlphaMale (both with one jump). Im curious if there are any other superanvils out there and where they jump and what they use for equipment, cvfd1399 and I used a military HALO rig and the other two used converted tandems. I currently own a custom rig made with tandem specs and cvfd1399 owns a HALO rig. The only other BIG guy I know of is Denny (Bear) who has to be pushing 280lbs+ and if I remember right he is D-134. Where are all the SUPERANVILS out there, let's get a one ton 4-way team together! "GOT LEAD?"
