3-5 durring the summer. I would jump more but it is all I can afford to do ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Swooping is taking one last poke at the bear before escaping it's cave - davelepka

I have been in a packed KA in the middle of summer. Its not that bad for that long. You have to consider how much the temperature drops once you start getting to altitude. We do like was mentioned before, untill its time to get up someone ussualy has the door proped open a bit to keep things cool. I have jumped in a long sleeved shirt/sweat shirt with shorts before. I was working on sitflying though. You really have to dress for what you are doing though. It helps quite a bit especially when you are new (like me ) ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Medical Insurance through your Employer - Funny Story
Fast replied to stoneycase's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
The coolest thing is that even with very frequent visits to the site over the last month, I don't have to look farther than the first page to see a discussion about saftey of jumping vs saftey of driving/etc. I was denied coverage on x-rays and a ankle brace because the accident was skydiving related. Oh well. Next time that I end up needing medical attentnion I will make sure they don't find out how I hurt myself :D ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Haha, least you have the cash to jump I'm looking at a repack, new cypress batteries, and jumps if I want to go. I think I will just wait till spring, and deal with being a bit uncurrent then. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. What does your chest strap look like after opening?
Fast replied to rocketfeuille's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
No change in chest strap location/tightness on my vector 3, unless I mess with it. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Swooping is taking one last poke at the bear before escaping it's cave - davelepka -

We do them at our DZ in the turbines. They passanger doesn't wear a rig, but neither does the pilot so They just have to fill out the waiver form so if they die, we don't get sued ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. I'm poor...Need advice from Pro's
Fast replied to sobertoday's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
i'm pretty sure it depends on your license I don't think that he was really asking about whether or not he would be technically current, but rather if he would be mentaly, and physically ready to skydive, if he was only doing it 3 times a month. I personally get a bit uncomforatable when I am not jumping on a regular basis. Too much time spent concentrating on preforming, and not having it come naturally, But then I only have like 65 jumps. Untill the fall/winter weather struck I was jumping every weekend not only for the fun factor, but so I would stay comfortable, and not forget saftey stuff,... anyways, I'll defer to the more experienced people's answers, when they come forth, of course. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. 0:0:0 Ok, this weather where its nice all week and then shitty on the weekend needs to stop! Thats 2 weekends in a row with no jumping cause of shitty low clouds and rain. Go away winter! ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Swooping is taking one last poke at the bear before escaping it's cave - davelepka

The avatars don't update because your computer already has the image file in its cache, and when you change an avatar HH does not give the new file a new filename. When you goto the page the computer starts looking for files it has already to save load time. One of them is the old avatar, so it doesn't ask the server for a new one. Eventually the file expires and the server gets a refresh and the avatars change. I'm not saying that HH should rewrite it to make every avatar change have a new number associated with it, just thats why I would guess it doesn't work. (In fact I haven't tested it but im pretty sure it doesn't change) ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. heh, I woke up with morning, still in bed and reached for my laptop. Was sound asleep within 5 minutes. Not worth getting up early when the clouds are at 800 feet (overcast) ITs that time of year where the weather in the US sucks if you live anywhere other than arizona, california, florida, and maybe texas. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. That's Moneyshot from Skydive Chicago (who rocked at Nationals, may I add), and James is such a sweetie! I love him to death! I think I chased his main this summer. We found it in a tree, had to find someone with the skill to get it down though. Some trees are just not meant to be climbed. (Well at least I think it was his, I know it was someone from that team) Other than him I hav eonly met one or two other skydivers that were african american. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. I have to agree with you about candids. They have the potential to look so much better than specific posed shots. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Swooping is taking one last poke at the bear before escaping it's cave - davelepka

If you know perl already this probally wont be that hard. Other than the sites that indyz said you can always look at perldoc which is bassically everything in perl in multiple versions. I guess it comes down to knowing how the dbm stuff is set up, where you want to go with the data, and knowing how to get it from point A to point B. Above example is also pretty much right on. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. Good luck with the weather, I have been watching my area's forcast slip into doom and gloom all week. It started out bad, went good and now its looking iffy. Blue Skies for ya! Yes, I agree. That is a choice of the 'lesser of two evils.' My prefered shipper is FedEx. This is primarily based on the large volume of packages that I shipped via thier services when I worked IT for a credit union. Everything was always on time, the driver was always there on time to pick it up, and FedEx ship made things so easy to do. Oh well, I guess some people like brown, and I don't understand the desire to ship with the postal service, they have the worst package liabilities, inadequate tracking, etc. As for para-gear, I would give them one more shot to make amends and if they blew me off again the credit transaction would get a recall. ~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me.
