The US might be wanting to beat the Chinese to THIS STUFF> Helium-3 (He-3) is an isotope of Helium with two protons and one neutron, which is rare on Earth; it is sought after for use in nuclear fusion research. More abundant helium-3 is thought to exist on the Moon (embedded in the upper layer of regolith by the solar wind over billions of years) and the solar system's gas giants (left over from the original solar nebula), although still in low quantities (28 ppm of lunar regolith is helium-4 and 0.01 ppm is helium-3).[1] It is proposed to be used as a second-generation fusion power source isn't Google great! Actually, it'll be a secret Al Qaeda base.....those sneaky bastards! Actually I read an article about it awhile back and couldn't find it so that's how I knew where to look on google. Google is great. If you don't mind them wanting to know everything about you.>http://www.ft.com/cms/s/c3e49548-088e-11dc-b11e-000b5df10621.html I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

Scenting and preventative detention in Germany
akarunway replied to akarunway's topic in Speakers Corner
http://www.kyivpost.com/bn/26622/ This reeks. Do they have a lil Gitmo in germany?> "Interior Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble has also said that anti-globalization activists deemed to be "potentially violent" may be detained for up to two weeks during the summit in so-called "preventative detention." I have never in my life made demands that a government accomodate me while breaking a law. For that matter I do not break the law (to the best of my knowledge). When have you demanded accomodation for illegal activity? So you never tried to talk your way out of a speeding ticket? LOL. I have to do just that in front of the judge next month. Actually had a nice cop for once. He did lie and say I was doing 95 mph in a 65. My truck is lucky to do 85 I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

Another U.S. half billion dollar boondoggle in Iraq

"If the card is "unforgeable", you cannot give it to them right at border. It should be made on a special facility with limited access. Even driver licenses (which are not unforgeable) are not issued in DMV"________________________________________________> What rock do you live under? All the DMVs I go to issue driver licenses on the spot. And there are plenty of cases of fake ones out there. I could go buy one right now for a couple hundred bucks. Maybe we should have rules where your US citizenship is revoked if you can't, oh, say, spell words a 4th grader could? Now to poke some holes: 1.) "unleashing the dogs" isn't possible. Not enough resources. 2.) if you had the choice between using your "no US rights ID" and using your "no US rights ID" to come into the US and then using fake ID, which would you choose? Go to your local elementary and high school and count up the number of "illegals" you have in that school. Then come back here and tell us what percentage it is. I'll even go a step further, and let you say that ALL the mexicans you can see are probably illegals. (To give you the benefit of the doubt). Then we'll take that percentage, apply it to your yearly income tax and then you can tell how much, in dollars you think you're getting ripped off (just on the local education front). To top it off, do you think you'd be able to buy your family a fastfood meal with that money? Or is this not a "petty thing" and a thing of principle? .jim Goddamn. More spelling police. Got anything better to do than bitch about somebodys speeling? I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

The 2003 war in Iraq - does anybody still fully support it?
akarunway replied to vortexring's topic in Speakers Corner
Personally I believe if we'd worry about home more (as a U.S citizen) and quit fuckin w/ everbody elses business none of this shit would have started to begin w/. Quit trying to dominate the world (s resourses) and cram a Big Mac down everybodys throat. If you guys like fighting and dying so much your gonna have plenty of fronts to fight on. We are creating more animosity now than ever in the world. Carry on. I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. -
They are ILLEGAL! Are you familiar with that word? Here's what the man opened up with; "Need to send all the motherfuckers to Iraq." Are you suggesting that anyone that ever does anything illegal (speeding ticket, use of illegal drugs, illegal use of legal drugs, ect.) be given the same treatment? There are, various, levels of illegal activities. Some, really are just a nuisance and don't actually have much of an impact in our daily lives and it would completely change the nature of our society if we showed them zero tolerance as is being suggest both by him and, it appears, yourself. If every single illegal immigrant suddenly -did- leave the USA, do you have any idea what would happen? Do you even have a clue as to how many illegal immigrants -you personally- rely on to get you through the day? Pop, you live is Houston, Texas FFS! Good luck getting a good meal! Oh wait, you do have that BBQ sauce of yours, don't ya? Lemma ask you this . . . any illegals working in that factory that makes it? What about people in the catering business, idoes one of the chapters in "Starting a Catering Business Start-Up Guide Kit™" cover that? WELL. I was chillin in the mountains. Now you got me pissed again. My relatives came to this country LEGALLY. I have no problem for the most part if they come here LEGALLY. I've broken a few laws in my younger days. I always went to court, played my own attorney (won more than I lost) and faced the music. I've done a little jail time. My bad. Do you understand the meaning of the word LEGAL? If I as a U.S. citizen have to abide by the law you want to give these ILLEGALS a free ride. I'm tired of my tax dollars paying for the bastards. I have rich relatives that hire them. I have a Guatemalan lady that comes to the door trying to sell enchiladas every week. Am I going to rat them out? NO But. LEGAL is the keyword here. And I know my spelling sucks. Even worse when I'm pissed I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

American's aren’t eliminating other people's jobs but the US government sure do a good job of eliminating basic levels of living for Mexicans through trade agreements. Well they're Mexicans Not all Mexicans. They come in from MANY countries. But mostly thru Mexico. I know a few skydivers who have overstayed their visas. Hard working but ILLEGAL. That's the part I have a problem w/. Which means? No, they don't. If they didn't accept NAFTA and other "free trade" agreements they probably wouldn't be the Mexican government. Says the person who thinks international war is bad for the US economy I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

Yaeh. That's about the same as I can find. If they go home and try to come back LEGAL I have LESS of a problem w/ it. We'll see. Nobody ever gave me amnesty or a pardon.
