  1. Which part of my comment implies that I'm bothered? You've clearly been away from SC for a loooong while if you do not know where I stand .
  2. Rest easy; there is no way he would accept that position. Too many duties, obligations, protocols and etiquette that comes with it. Musk has "fuck you" money; there's nobody that gets to tell him when and where to be and how to behave while he is there.
  3. Is anyone here perhaps able to say what will become of all the collected data? Does it reside in a dusty storage device on Willem's shelf? If I assume it's a MySQL (or more sophisticated) on the back end. Even if DZ.com never goes forward again it would seem a shame to shitcan the skydiving forum content; especially the Incidents records. There's a chance that someone may find that of value for future research, to extract to a generic format.
  4. Is the left not supposed to be the side of 'truth'? Your comments are yet another exception to that then. Trump said no such thing. Kanye West did. You're taking anecdotes from Kanye as your trusted source of truth? Interesting. Indeed Trump f-ed up royally by hosting Fuentes at dinner and an antisemitic 'Ye' is not better company either. Trump's team scrambled to distance him from that event by claiming he didn't know Fuentes' true associations. I don't have evidence either way to know the truth of that excuse. One of Trump's many poor judgement moments.
  5. And right there is the left's candid admission that their debate tactic is to attack the person rather than the argument. Very interesting how that worked out. Something we agree on! My best laugh since November 5th.
  6. ....and you're welcome to have that opinion or belief here. I just don't particularly give a shit that you do, and neither does Snopes and thankfully neither does the US electorate majority for the next few years. At this point you're pretty much just trolling me and I have no incentive to humour you more than I already do. I'm sure somebody from this chamber will throw your comments a 'like' for morale.
  7. You. You would not fall under that banner. Centre-right or 'mainstream' conservatives too. But, since I cannot know with certainty that you were not at that protest I have to allow for the possibility that you were. It seems Trump did too. Again the premise of your question contains the unproven assertion that KKK and 'militia groups' (another made-up comparison) were the only people there. It's not answerable.
  8. If you're asserting that they were all supremacists and nazis then burden of proof is on you. I'm not obligated to disprove it. Perhaps take some consolation then that if they were indeed all in that category then it can be inferred that he was condemning the lot of them. If you're still fixated on your preferred version then you might consider contacting Snopes to insist they correct their article.
  9. You're kidding, right? Have you never seen the actual quote?
  10. While "Russian fabrication" cannot be used as an exact quote; there was reasonable evidence that active efforts were made by the left to suppress the authenticity of it and thereby suppress the negative perceptions of influence peddling it contained at a critical time prior to the 2020 election. Another example would be AOC asserting the laptop was "half fake". Distortions of truth by the left. In fairness I do not specifically recall you denouncing its' authenticity although, by the same measure, you might want to be aware that I have never made accusations regarding Hillary's emails. I am however aware of the truth of the FEC fines against her for concealing how campaign financing was spent on the Steele dossier, a dossier of which its' own author conceded "not everything in the dossier is 100% accurate". Hunter was charged and convicted of a crime almost primarily from evidence on his own laptop, hence "evidence of crimes". I chose one. Influence peddling is not directly a crime and concealing its' existence during an election to avoid appearances of impropriety is unlikely to be a crime either. Your statements were in regard to truth vs belief, not crimes. Your notion that the left is all about 'truth' is farcical. I just did. Your thought is once again your belief.
  11. Such is the hubris of the hard-left; asserting their own 'truths' as; the laptop is a Russian fabrication, trump said supremacists are "fine people" ... that last one indeed repudiated by a renowned center-left factcheck site and yet many on the left will still assert their different belief of that as 'truth'. There are dozens more examples of these already debated to deadlock in other threads and often with the only discernible outcome being that your posts got more 'likes' than the other guy. Absorbing this echo chamber and other left media or community bubbles gives you those assurances of 'your truth". Have you wondered yet why the ratings of legacy left media (CNN, MSNBC) tanked hard after the election? Viewers could then see the lies they had been told both in the polling and projected narratives.
  12. Is it still? The banner has been removed. Maybe Elon Musk bought it.... <insert preferred emoji>
  13. As this is a forum of opinions; you're welcome to have that view. I'm quite sure this echo chamber will also. However; the larger electorate won't care much that you believe that. You might as well be a flat-earther.
  14. The denial is in regard to specifically who he was referring to. Some of those "bunch of people" deniers are Snopes . When even a centre-left factcheck site is disagreeing with you; that's how you know you're really hard-left. Yes, he said those words and 'protestors' is a plural word and it was Trump's belief (whether yours or not) that the protestors contained a mix of people; both 'fine people' and (not-so-fine) supremacists and per the Snopes account of events - He said in the same statement he wasn't talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be "condemned totally." It's only the hard-left that hold onto whichever narrative of this event will provide the best smear.
  15. That has your favourite 'Godwinian' sound to it, right? Keep milking that cow. Call it that if you like, or call them by their actual name; detention centres, and know that Obama established his own centres before Trump's era. If a certain someone had not allowed a flood of illegal migrants across his borders in the first place.... We can be quite sure that you did not, so we're on equal foot there. You're parroting cherry-picked opinions of a handful of people predisposed to being anti-trump for any number of possible reasons. I can also use that kind of argument. The largest single percentage (some 49% estimated) of holocaust survivors live in Israel today. What is the general Israeli sentiment towards Trump you might wonder ? ..... You are so far down the rabbit hole again.
  16. Within a US context; liberals have no more claim to extremism than conservatives do. It's a fair bet that most of the world would not even know what 'being MAGA' is. What do you think defines 'being MAGA' ? - Anyone who voted for Trump? Anyone who wears the hat? Anyone who's Republican? It's a made-up catchphrase, not a demographic. Them saying so does not make it so. It's subjective and you're referring to jakee's earlier Freudian slip liberal philosophy of “does mean that you have changed reality into what you say it is". If you're not budging on that then we'll need to agree to disagree.
  17. To what end? As no liberal here predicted the magnitude of their election loss; you can't even read the room in your own country, much less evaluate anecdotal evidence from being an occasional tourist. Nobody can reliably know "what the world thinks" at any one moment but on balance of probability; "most of the world think that executing 6 million jews is bad" is a more likely truth than "Most of the world think MAGA are racist nut jobs. "
  18. Most of the world? Really? ..and you speak on behalf of most of the world? India, China, both Americas, all of Europe and Africa... Riiiight...
  19. Of course that's extremist both in action and as a minority outlook relative to a world view. Same comparison as Hamas. However; bent liberals see extremism as "that which I dislike" therefore when applying your logic and accounting for the size of the demographic, the opposing side may just as easily refer to liberals as extremists. Ever heard of the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect? such as Liberals spewing a Godwin narrative of Trump until a good percentage of the electorate, who had learned or read what actual nazis were like, see the lie and then wonder what else the leftist media has lied to them about. So; please keep going with that conflation.. and keep losing.
  20. Don't kid yourself. We both know who's really having the last laugh here.
  21. So we're onto PA's now? I always knew you had it in you. I now have other members I'd rather keep engaging with. Shout at clouds if you'd like.
  22. You asked if it could happen again after specifically asking what happened to Trump. If you'd like to ask if that can happen to someone else, then ask that. The 'games' are coming from you. If somehow you're imagining that it could happen to Harris then you're comparing apples with oranges (orange pun intended); Trump had already established a record of a win in 2016 and only missed 2020 by a narrow margin. The reason for the R's to support Trump in 2024 was much like the D's supporting Biden for the same reason; a record of victory. Harris has no such record; she ran once and failed hard. She burned through a billion dollars and then some, without result. She would have a tough time just finding donors again. Despite the apparent early polling mentioned above; the thinking Dems know she's not the best candidate they have. Even on this forum there was a thread discussing who would be most suitable to replace Biden and, aside from the campaign funding 'lock-in' issue, Harris was not a popular choice amongst liberals in that thread.
  23. ?? That lesson can be taken from the US constitution. After his next term, he's done. Obviously it couldn't happen again.
  24. We know who's having the last laugh now.
  25. A lot of things happened to Trump 4 years ago. Enjoying a Big Mac was probably one. If you can't specify what you're looking for then go browse the archives. However; none of it will matter much in 2028 because he'll be out of the race.
