I am from Swakopmund on the West coast. The dz is about 5 km from town and busy 7 days a week. Tsumeb isn't really the place to go because it only operates once in about 2 months, so you wouldn't be able to skydive whenever. You should take my email adress and let me know when you want to come. Lots of cool stuff to do here in Swakopmund, it's like the adventure capital of the world. Let me know. Blue Skies Mellies

Thanks, I really didn't know that. I read in the forums that you only nead 50 jumps in the states to participate in night jumps. That must be cool because here in nam you nead a CAT3 and a PRO2 rating. That takes you about 150 jumps and then you have your B Licence. Then only are you alowed to do night jumps. You sound like a real pro, how many jumps do you have? Well safety is always first and rules are rules. Blue Skies Mellies

Cool man. Nice to know there is other people that felt the same as I did after my first tandem. I did mine in Swakopmund about a year ago and started a static line course two days later. Welcome aboard and blue skies forever. Mellies.

Hi all you skydivers. Well I'm from Namibia and would just like to intriduce myself. I've been in the sport for a year now and have 101 jumps. Did my 100th last Wednesday and it was freezing. Bad idea to do a naked jump this time of the year because it's winter here. Well now that you kind of know me I hope to hear lots from you in the future. Blue skies. Mellies
