I put 100 jumps on a Sabre2 170 and then demoed a Pilot 168 for 5 jumps. Pilot was more responsive in the air, but the Sabre2 had significantly more flare. I'd go with the Sabre2.

Hi all Am keen to use some Thinsulate in some stuff that I am currently making. Does anyone out there know where I can buy it by the yard/roll, and what sort of price it is going for? earthbound

That is interesting to note - I also jump a Sabre 2 (150), which gives me a wing loading of about 1.0. I have end cell closures on just about every opening, and the canopy likes to turn on opening. Concentrating on body position has definitely helped - I might give the 'keeping feet together' trick a go next time. The canopy is great to fly though, and lands beautifully.

To be honest, haven't looked at which helmet yet...we do use the PAL format, but I am pretty sure that Sony produce the 22 in that format for us folks down under

Thanks for that - I haven't looked yet, but I assume the TRV22 is compatible with existing helmet mounts? (this is all new to me )....

what about the TRV 33 or TRV 55? is the extra cost justified by any worthwhile extra functionality?

Hello all...here is yet another one of those posts asking about which video camera to buy! I am just about to start out on camera work, and am seeking some advice on what is a good initial camera to get. I don't have a price limit in mind, but am obviously after good value for money. What are the features to keep an eye out for, and are there any particular brands/models that are better than others? Thanks!
