I haven't eaten that stuff since I left Hungary, but I can still recall the smell as my mom roasted them in the oven. I'm not sure If I can still stomach them but I'd give it an honest try...

For my husband who thinks I'm the best thing since sliced bread, for my mom, sister and family whom I haven't seen in over ten years, but soon... For my good health, and for the fact that no matter how bad you think things are there are all those things to be thankful for.

Some cats don't do well with their litter box being moved. You need to be gradual and literally move it inch by inch (I'm not kidding) across the floor to it's final destination. I was lucky, I moved my kittens box to the closet at once and she started using it right away, but I'm afraid you may have to start again and do the shuffle. "I love cooking with wine. You can also try the Feliway diffuser, which is the syntetic version of a naural cat feromone. Try changing the brand of litter. Cats are very sensitive to smell and texture and can be very picky. Also keep it clean! The behavior is certainly odd, I wouldn't have thought a cat is capable of jealousy... "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."

Now I know why that big Himalayan's name at my local shelter was Spanky... Apparently, he was adopted and returned 3(!) times because the owners weren't able to give him the attention he needed. No shit... "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."

When I lived in Hungary with mom my favorite meal was fried chicken, parsley potatoes and cucumber salad. I haven't been home in ten years, what we cook and eat has changed dramatically, but if we want a nice, comforting meal we make roast chicken, mac'n cheese (with rice pasta, no wheat here either) and a nice salad. It's an ongoing issue, the animal rights activists were trying to have it banned the last time, claiming cruel treatment of the dogs. It didn't pass then, but the revenue at the racetracks have decreased considerably. I personally have mixed feelings about the issue, being a fierce animal lover. On one hand I don't condone the exploitation of animals in any form (they don't really have a choice) however by banning it in Mas., the owners will just move them somewhere else, where it's legal. And presto! You have a bunch of people out of their jobs in this shitty economy. Most of them with families, with homes they can barely make payments on or in their fifties. I think I'm very healthy for my age. BP under 110/70 Cholesterol: Can't remeber exact numbers, but it was excellent BMI: on the low side, 19, working on gaining some muscle Exercise: 5 days a week Don't smoke, drink only moderately, my diet is healthy for the most part. Make sure I get my yearly PAP and I've already had a mammogram at 35. Oh, and I don't leave the house without SPF "I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food."

I agree. Squirt guns and other training devices should only be used if the cat cannot see you. They should be thinking " Every time I scratch the new leather couch I get doused with water out of the blue. You might try a pheromone feline repellent. There is one called Fel-Away. You can spray it around your plants. Also mix lettuce or other greens in with her cat food. Good Luck! I thought Feli-Way was a feel good pheromone to calm nervous cats. The plug-in diffuser is said to be useful to calm cats when introducing a new cat to the house and the spray version inside the carrier before transport. You may want to try bitter apple spray. GREEN CARD!!! It is really true! There was an email from my attorney yesterday morning, and sure enough there it was, in the mailbox along with a "Welcome to the United States" notice.
