Hmm, they thought that he would be the last of the birdmen. Little did they know that there would be flocks of them. PMS #62 Zarza R[red

The suit in that picture looks as if he were surround by a barrel with only his feet hanging out. Are there any pictures of him prior to the jump? PMS #62 Zarza R[red

Well poo, I thought I was going to get to meet a real life Aggie. Oh well, hope your "good thing" goes well.

Oh, that skydiving movie with Burt Lancaster? I vaguely remember it. Was someone wearing something similar? PMS #62 Zarza R[red

I found this pic on Corbis with the following quote "Donning homemade wings and webbing of his own invention, Clem Sohn, parachute jumper and daredevil, jumped from a plane at 12, 000 feet and successfully sustained himself in the air and even performed difficult maneuvers over Daytona Beach, Florida, February 27. After performing to his own satisfaction, Sohn pulled the ripcord of a parachute he was wearing and floated down to earth. After minor improvements of his apparatus, which weighs only eight pounds, Sohn will repeat his performance. He is shown above, wearing his real flying suit, after his recent flight. February 27, 1935." Just curious if there was anything recorded before this attempt. PMS #62 Zarza R[red

I figured if I chose telekinesis as one of my powers I wouldn't have to choose flying cause I would be able to will myself to fly through my telekinetic powers.
-
Never thought about the temp thing. That would definitely be a bonus when jumping in the winter.

Imagines ReL sitting across from female co-worker in important business meeting. Just as she is about to give her presentation. ReL's powers kick in. PMS #62 Zarza R[red

Exactly....now you see where I'm coming from. PMS #62 Zarza R[red

Well telekinesis is where you can move things with your mind. Like Jean Gray in X-Men. I wouldn't want to know whats going on in everyone's mind either. PMS #62 Zarza R[red

and could only choose 2 powers, what would they be? I personally would choose telekinesis and invisibility. A friend and I got into this discussion and I was curious as to what other skydivers would choose. Plus, I was bored.

Very true. It's sad to read that his has passed. He was to the Honeymooners what Kramer(Michael Richards) is to Seinfeld. He made the show. PMS #62 Zarza R[red
