-
Whew....that's better......What's bugging you today?

This is exactly how I feel about everything important in my life right now... I am still not feeling very well, and I have to get better before the weekend! I want to fly... -
Yup! You know me, Gia...such a potty mouth...
-
I have no idea what this left/right thing is, but I dress from the bottoms up. I put on panties, pants, sometimes socks, shoes...finish getting ready...then bra...top/sweater last. Caress ~ Yes, I do believe that most people sleep nude. The people that I know, anyway.

Actually, dropping the "without leaving the property" part of that statement, the same could be done by jumping at Elsinore with use of Perris' tunnel. They are only 20 minutes away from each other. It is not an issue to train this way, at all, as I know that teams at Elsinore are using the tunnel, but still jumping at Elsinore. I have been made aware that these two DZs currently have a good relationship and have developed some kind of agreement regarding Elsinore's staff and instructors' use of the tunnel. Both DZs are at an advantage this way. We are all lucky. I plan on hopping in to the tunnel very soon myself.

That's not necessarily true. I have been a student at both, and I have been a licensed jumper at both. Elsinore has has an extremely professional staff. I have always preferred it at Elsinore because I have always felt that they watched over me as a newer jumper. The Elsi people have always treated me like family. I really feel the love there and am always encouraged to grow in the sport by the more experienced regulars and staff there. Also, I love the pretty view of the lake and the activities that they plan for us...sharing our mutual love of the sky and our bond as sky brother and sisters. Both DZs are fabulous, though. You just cannot go wrong with either one, so I would suggest to visit both. Also, Perris is more active during the weekdays, in case that is a concern. Edited for spelling

That is sooo not true. I have met one at Perris (name eludes me), who also teaches AFF and one at Elsinore (Ellen), who also does video. They freaking ROCK!!!

Ok, thanks everyone for all the PMs about fire dancing. You have all been so encouraging! So, I wasn't feeling my best today. Nevertheless, I called the Fire Dancing Instructors and told them that I would meet with them tonight to buy the "Poi set", visit their studio, say "hello", but that I would wait until the following Tuesday to dance. They were encouraging, but explained that their studio, located in Hollywood, was VERY difficult to find. I said no problem. It turns out, even with explicit directions...I couldn't find the darned place! I was upset earlier tonight, but now I am just laughing it off. Well, from the way that they warned me about how difficult it is to find the place, they will not be surprised that I got lost. The worst part was that the studio is in a seedy part of Hollywood, and I couldn't find parking. Some "thuggish"-looking men were eyeing me and edging closer to the car, every time that I slowed down to find the address. The addresses on the buildings completely skipped numbers, and I couldn't find a rear entry either. I would have parked and investigated by foot, but I decided not to walk around in that part of town at night alone. Never again will I expose myself to any possible dangers. Well, I just wrote an e-mail to the fire dancer instructors. They are pay as you go, so anyone can join in at most any time. I am still sooo excited...until next Tuesday!

Someone with a DZ.COM account tried to get me fired today
VanillaSkyGirl replied to CanuckInUSA's topic in The Bonfire
This is unbelievable. What kind of person would be so manipulative? I am sooo glad that this person did not succeed in getting you into trouble at work. Steve, you do what you have to do. We are all behind you. -
Nah, just role playing, again. People sometimes expect stupidity from people that look a certain way. It's pretty funny.
-
(Arching back, twirling hair, eyes wide...) "Oooooo....that big, whirly thingie is sooooo cool!" (Blink, blink...vacant look)
-
God, I know. This DZ.com stuff has taken over my life. There aren't enough hours in the day to answer all the PMs. I feel like such a loser because I cannot stop.
-
Finally someone like me...
-
I can't really drink beer...you can have my portion, Kelly!
-
Oh Casie, I just saw your pics! You're beautiful, girlie. Don't be silly. Your hips are perfect!
-
That's cool! You will be there longer than me. I am taking a red-eye with 2 connections, and I should be in Gulfport by midday on the 26th. The only problem is that I will look and feel like a total hag after not getting any sleep all night. LOL! I hope that I can take a nap and jump at least once or twice late Thursday afternoon, depending on how I feel.

My MAC will not play your clicky, Clay. Can you bring a copy to Mardi Gras that I could see? My computer didn't open any of the other people's videos either, so I had Eloy videos sent from a few DZ.commers. I loved Jake's the best because he spent a whole day jumping on all my loads and besides his cumulative Eloy video, he also sent me a second special video just for me. (He ROCKS!)
-
Yes sir! I will try my best to be a non-poophead.
-
Oooops...the 27 or 28th...

I have no idea if there's a hottub. Bring whatever you'd like to wear! I, personally, would be too shy, but it sounds like a BLAST! Yeah, any day is fine for me too. It will be so much fun...
