Jerry, you kill me! I'm not exactly living in the ghetto. Simi Valley? It's is boring as all hell. I would never go there, myself. I tend to drive all over, and I have never really spent much time here specifically because it's such a quiet, residential area with pretty conservative families for the most part. My boyfriend used to live in Studio City, prior to moving to San Diego, south of Ventura, which is much more lively. I know that area well, so I could always go to a restaurant out that way. Yes, Malibu is close enough, and I like the nicer parts of Venice, like around where Nick lives. The restaurants are great. I used to live in Santa Monica within walking distance to the beach. I used to go there when I was younger, but when I lived in Santa Monica, I never really hung out in 3rd Street much because there are so many tourists/non-locals. Gia may be coming this way for a slumber party...YAY! I don't like the Universal City Walk...it's much too touristy. Culver City is actually ghetto-ish to me. I hate it there...it's mostly businesses and studios. My ex in the radio industry worked/s there. I think that I am just going to take Val to Hooters...and to Compton... (Kidding, of course!)

Did anyone else notice that I misspelled Vallerina's name in the title? I just noticed today! I swear I need a new keyboard. My keys are all stuck together from recently spilling a soft drink all over the keyboard. (No, I wasn't laughing and spitting or anything silly like that.)

I completely agree. It seems like it is not something that anyone should do unless all other avenues have been explored first. I think that my friends who have had it done, Darcy and Ed (they talk about it on here, so it's ok for me to say their names) feel the same way about it. Edited: Although I am naturally thin, I am pretty close with my friends that have struggled with these issues. The only reason why I answered at all was to let you know that there are plenty of other skydivers out there who have struggled with similar weight problems.
