And you look good in there! Now we just need to get you some Swoomas!
-
Oh no, sweetie! That is terrible! Sending you the biggest hug I can! Love ya, and glad it is not any worse.

We're married.

I have to disagree. It is like putting models out in front of your booth. Even though they have no connection to the merchandise, it attracts attention and draws people, thus selling more. Hot women sell stuff, simple as that. Heck, I would almost buy a pair of those undies just because of the pics.

I'll take an autographed 510 please.

Does it bother you to kiss a girl who is wearing lipstick?
ccowden replied to skymama's topic in The Bonfire
On a day to day basis, I don't care for it. But if it is a formal situation and she doesn't usually wear it, then I don't mind. But I am really not a big fan of lipstick for kissing. I DO like gloss though. Yummy! -
Yeah baby! Can't wait to see you............

Body position is everything. Starting out in something that places the drag on your arms rather than your legs is a good idea to learn, however, it can also cause you to rely a little too much on your arms. What I see alot is people holding themselves in their sit with their arms and not flying strong enough with their lower body and legs. So, what happens is that their legs and feet want to pop up and out in front of them, causing instability and turning. The more their feet come up, the further back they put their arms to counter it, thus just making it worse. In your situation where you thought it was going to be more difficult with the drag on your lower body, it may have actually become easier beacause of this. You may have been relying on your arms a little more than you thought, and when you take away some of that drag and control from your arms, it was easier to keep your lower body and legs and feet in the correct position. In essence, it forced you to fly a strong lower body, which is the absolute key to a good head up position. It is not the arms. Go out in just a tee and shorts and practice. It will really force you to have good body position. Keep up the good stuff!

What else can I do to learn about flying a canopy?

What??? She's a chick?!

We try.

See..... we are here for ya! And you can count on my support. I will come watch you dance!
-
I still like my idea that you should start stripping. You can skydive during the day and dance at night. Just let us know where it is you will be dancing!
-
You should get a job as a stripper so you can pay for skydiving. Would that help things? Just kidding, but I think a job is a great idea. That way you can fund your skydiving. Like stated above, if your parents are going to help you with college, then they should realize that it allows you to have some fun and do other things with your money. If you have to live as if you are paying your own way through school, then it kinda defeats the purpose of them helping. If they are going to condition their support, then get student loans and continue your dreams, both in school and in skydiving. But don't give up a dream or a passion for someone else.

If I just happen to end up in Houston on that night, I will be there for sure. Right now, it's about a 1% chance that I will be, but hey, atleast there's a chance!

Yup- it is one of the most scenic dropzones I hae visited. You can see 6 different Finger Lakes and Lake Ontario on clear days. Pretty sweet! Here are a few pics. They don't do it justice though.

Thank you. Exactly my point. Let's not make it seem that American cops are fat lazy people and British cops are all lean and mean and don't make mistakes. That's all I am saying.
